yeah lor..definitely more than 1 year...hope can 2 years...lol ....not a matter of kiasu or not...but a matter of prudence larger one price difference not much compared to small ones...and somemore refill at co2 companies tend to charge the same price whether big or small canister......so....might as well...dun want to make trips to LFS or gas companies often to refill...just set once and forget... hope tat by the time i want to leave this hobby..the cylinder is still pumping co2...

yeah ..tat's why all cleaning my clam tank only...only my 6 line wrasses patrolling...if they dissapear..i know the culprits actually most crabs..even emerald crabs...also may capture small fishes when they are older....so put them in at your own risk

my personal experience is that the front windscreen of the SIR (civics) is very curved towards my face....meaning if i ever jam brake or someone hit me from behind...there is very little throw distance from my head to the windscreen... whereas mivec (lancers) windscreen is a normal distance from the head.... not sure if anyone notice that, but personally that is something i observe about both of them.... but this is a non-perfomance aspect of both cars lah...but i feel uncomfortable knowing my head is so near the front windscreen in the SIR...hehe

then it goes into a reducer to use a 16/22 tubing to go into the aquaC ..... you see ah...u use md55 to get the kind of foam that i can do with the P6000..and somemore you got to dial back the air flow...means over powered the pump liao..meaning waste more electricity to do the same thing also....maybe the way the skimmer is positioned cause this difference? as for letting me test your pump...u know me...i scared cross contamination...especially now got sensitive specimens in my tank..hehehe you try to close the valve till only a finger can go through...clean the chamber....and see if it can foam like mine or not...give it a try

ok..here is the big tubing i use to connect to the pump first..not sure wat size...probably 19/20something size or wat..not sure

bro weileong: try cleaning the foam tower...i see some brownish stuff at the chamber like mine...it does impede the rise of the foam to a certain extent.... i close the valve till my fat finger can just about squeeze through...so maybe you can aim for that kind of gate clearance

for bro weileong: i close the gate valve more than half...i inserted my finger into the gate valve and the gate closed more than half...with the P6000 pump hope these pics are what you want...

i think its a long term residence for them liao.... coz i find algae growing on the clam shells...but as you can see in the pics.. the shells quite clean...coz yesterday i took all of them out to brush the algae off the shells in the bathroom whereas my gf was scraping the glass of the clam tank and tidying up the sandbed.... really backbreaking exercise...and the amount of shells i have to go through
