i dump them in the sump...the last stage before the pump returns water but a fluidised reactor will improve adsorption surely

sometimes may tumble around...but sometimes they get stuck somehow and channelling will occur.. but definitely should have an improvement over just placing them in a corner of a sump

if bro joe doesn't do 2nd chambers for non-joe units...then just get those cheaper macro CR...and feed your effluent into it and then effluent out from macro back to your tank...and cap off the CO2 inlets..hehe in essence you just need another cylinder with an inlet and outlet...hehe

bro blenny: a one to one replacement for my AquaC ev240 will be a double beckett skimmer....probably rolling it out middle of the year.... then later on...maybe change the H&S with this deltec monster if i strike 4D

yeah..shortcuts in time can be done with a good skimmer and other equipment... dun have to wait for a long time..ie..years but of coz u can't do it too fast with a great skimmer also... the long time mentality is generally from the old school...where skimmer technology wasn't really good or trusted upon...or good chemical absorbents were used... if u want fast results, can be done...but it's alot of work to ensure the parameters dun go haywire also....

this pump is very cheap for its published flow rate..but as with most china/taiwan pump models..they tend to overrate their flow rate by quite a margin....i dunno if atman is a china/taiwan pump or not... this pump seems to similar to a german pond pump...mebner.. i am using P6000 pushing 6300l/hr at 90Watts they have P8000 pushing 7800l/hr at 120W and also PF9000 (slightly different design) pushing 8820l/hr at 125W so i feel that for about the same flow rate...the atman is very energy inefficient compared to this german pump....but cheaper no doubt...the mebners are in the range of 200plus to 300plus the germans in general are rather strict about their published flow/wattage or perfomance ratings compared to their china/taiwan counterparts....i generally take china/taiwan pump information with a big pinch of salt generally as you go up in pump wattage, more heat will be produced
