yup jie.. i guess the storm has blown over, i will help bwilly to pick up any debris left by contributing more useful posts in this thread
-
thanks bro marineman, you are from across the causeway and i am sure no one will feel that you are on either side of the debate... thanks again for the support
-
yeah lor...glad you are cool dun worry lah...i will just lay nice comments next time and keep critical remarks to myself as much as possible....so that your friends storm and sailfin will not get offended also... yeah..let's have a drink and go tang shopping together.... i'll be honoured to bring you around
-
boss, i am cool, already apologised to AP in her thread if she feels that i am too harsh and unfair in my words so far hope AP, storm, saifin and her friends can accept
-
yeah lor..dun leave leh AP..... according to your fren storm....seems that you feel that i am bullying you leh... but you read your thread carefully, i dun think i was hostile to you and scold you and call you names wat... when you post nice things, i say nice and applaud with all around you ..but when there are some issues i like to bring out...i will bring up to you also...maybe you feel that i am bullying you when i am raising those issues....in that case, i have to apologise... and i think you have very protective friends like sailfin and storm which appears very close to you but you say they are not close frens and only help you from time to time....in any case, you have great frens on your side... me included, i may be critical in my comments, but i think if you are sensitive to my words, i will take great care next time and not say things too harshly here's a flower

storm... i have given due praise to AP when she showcases nice things in her tanks.. and i think i should also point out the level of phosphates of 5ppm are indeed high, whether AP was instigated by you to post 5ppm is again besides the point.. and this again shows how close you and AP are despite her maintaining that you, sailfin and AP are just frens that help each other once in a while... all my comments were that 5ppm was out of scale even in my testkit and i believe, given her 20 years of experience, this shouldn't have been allowed to happen.... but like i said earlier, probably AP and you can only accept the nice comments but cannot accept objective views.
-
will do the check... but i dun think this is a little girl i am dealing with here....besides i dun think i am bullying by raising issues out of nothing...and i appreciate intellectual debates based on facts and not emotions.. if you can find me a credible source that mentions that 5ppm phosphates in a reef tank is not high, i can definitely take back my words anytime, afterall, like you said, i am not a marine biologist and definitely willing to take the humble pie if my opinions are wrong i am just referring to AP's phosphate levels in this context and i have given due praise to AP also in other aspects just like you recently did but if all AP and you want to hear are just good comments, then i rest my case
-
storm .. comments are getting emotional here with name callings anyway, who has been factual in his or her comments, reefers who are discerning will be able to know... who reasons with facts and who reasons with emotions, clear headed reefers will know... as such, i have only pointed out the high level of phosphates and get such a response from you, what if i point out more questionable stuff? I guess we probably have to smoothen out the issues in person? neh, i dun think we need to resort to that... and i dun need to be a marine biologist to know that 5ppm of phosphates is high in this context cool it man...you never know how things will be like *the day after tomorrow*

whether your livestocks are healthier than mine or not is besides the point and i am sure reefers here can come to their own conclusions whether yours are indeed healthier than mine...we do not have to self-praise our stuff this is not about the health of my livestock or your livestock...can you be more objective? your phosphate readings are very high and yet you are saying this kinda things
-
yeah...faster change your biophos i think i never reached 0.1 PPM or 0.25PPM, let alone 5PPM one should always maintain at 0.03PPM and lower if possible... 5PPM wow... 5PPM? i cant even measure that on my salifert chart, way off the chart limits already... with 20 over years of experience you allow it to climb to 5PPM? wow...

weileong's one will be from barr aquatics
-
haha..boss is also a powerful all-seeing eye
-
never mind lah weileong, let's concentrate on your forthcoming skimmer...when is the estimated date of arrival?
-
yes boss, roger
-
bro alan: all the info u need here... http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...=7239&hl=berlin let AP convince you on the RSB prowess
-
haha... better dun doubt AP lah....AP says can means can, i am sure her frens will say can also anyway, when is your barr aquatics beckett coming? shiok sia the thought of firing it up
-
bro weileong, maybe some skimmers no need to be upgraded no matter the conditions...big tank small tank..heavy load, light load, impossible load...just one skimmer can do all... i am sure AP will agree, RSB classic is the almighty one And AP will show you that with it, no algae problems watsoever... and the skimmer will help you not crash your tank no matter wat happens...near crash yes...but you can never crash your tank with a RSB the rest out there not using a RSB are just wasting electricty and money
