hehe... i think it's normal that you get more excited/worried about your tank coz i guess your wife can take care of herself much better than your tank can take care of itself...hehe.. no need to worry she get angry lah...you bake nice cakes and cookies....melts in her mouth...all the way to her heart the most you tell her...the best part about your reef is her, coz she is the mermaid that even the tank cannot hold her beauty in it

thanks giantbike..sorry can't help you solve your sticky floor problem... paiseh

bro bwilly, they normally do not leave their hard tubes...i had 3 cocoworms since quite some time back....2 are still with me.... what happened to the one was that as i was transferring then worms from tank to tank...i accidentally broke the hard shell of the cocoworm and exposed the half of the worm..... i felt so bad i couldn't find the mood to eat lunch that day... end up my fren came to pass me some stuff and then he took it home with him... but it din survive long after....i dun think breaking the shell was fatal according to what i read about them... but i really have to admit my mistake in breaking its shell, i could almost feel the pain when i saw the exposed part of the worm...

means quite serious...other bros have better suggestions? my maid fills those red pail to wash car that size to about 3/4 full and then add a soup spoon full of white vinegar... the smell is very vinegarish when you mop the floor...but it will go away soon... probably not a good idea to suggest to you bro...paiseh...sorry about the no-effect..hehe

agree totally, after seeing that incident happen in front of me, told myself not to drive fast in the rain....and keep a safe distance

http://www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/ test not accurate for asian regions they say..but just try lor..for the fun of it.. to see your bandwidth speed

yeah..coz if you just mop with normal water or not good detergent...then the stickness or oilyness just spreads itself on the floor surface and not really removing it... my gut feeling is that somehow the vinegar which is acetic acid, breaks down the stickiness or oilyness.... some floor detergents may be able to do the same though...not too sure... anyway, hope it will not happen again to you...best wishes

bro, i understand your floor sticky problem...whenever i start dripping some tank water on the floor...just a few drips will make the whole floor sticky what my maid normally does is to use white vinegar added to a pail of water to clear up the stickiness, not too sure if it's scientifically effective...but i do notice the floor does become less sticky... u can try if u have white vinegar at home ...

drive carefully especially when loved ones are onboard, the extent of damage may not be too severe as seen, but that's coz probably the kancil already tried to slow down but still could not avoid the swerving car...imagine a heavier car with a faster speed ramming into this side of the car, total wreckage i would say

Yo bros, was raining today as i was driving to kranji, out of the blue reminded me of a road accident along the Malaysia North-South highway involving my family not too many years ago. Just want to share with you all especially when the school holidays are near and some of you may be planning to do a trip up north to KL or genting with your loved ones.. What happened was along the way, heavy rain was encountered and after driving for several hours, not long before reaching KL toll gantry, this was what happened. visibility was only a couple of cars in front...very bad visibility in my opinion I was driving behind....my uncle was driving in front and suddenly he got into a big deep puddle of water in the center lane of the 3lane carriageway, and he got shocked with the pull of the car towards one side and he tried to correct the steering and brake...but i think the braking made matters worse...and the whole car swerved to the extreme left lane and he over corrected again and instead of going back to the middle lane, the car swerved to the extreme right lane.... all in a matter of seconds...and then a perodua kancil rammed head on, to the rear right of the car....this was the extent of the damage, if it was a heavier car, i dare not say what will be the results.... imagine seeing all these happening in front of me....geee...still get the shivers as i remember the scene....and surprising no other cars got involved in a chain collision behind... so the cars involved went to the shoulder lane to settle... the car has been scrapped already, not due to the damage of coz, just end of its useful life...but it's those cars without VSC/ABS and what not....so hope you bros here take note especially when driving up north during bad visibility and onset of fatigue happy holidays ahead

bro bwilly/ dr evil: just have to take note the height clearance lor.... my 150-F2001 also outsump model..but i dumped it in the sump also...hehe at least using an outsump models gives you the freedom of insump or outsump use...but you have to use a seperate feed pump whereas insump models tend to draw water directly thru the needlewheel pump
-
creetin, thank god i was not the only one who felt dizzy.... tot i needed to change my monitor
-
yeah..interesting device... but somehow seeing the 3 plate corals swaying in unison reminds me of cheerleaders with pompoms dancing in unison maybe that's the way the natural flow is like, but seriously just look at the video i get abit dizzy...i will definitely get dizzy if i were a fish in there
-
my fren uses a sicce idra pump to feed the skimmer....about 1300l/hr.. this feed pump is not included... the recirculating needlewheel pump is included as seen in the pic...

too critical you dun like...too sweet you dun like... you are one hard to please person hor..hehe no lah...since storm has brought it to my attention that i have been too critical on you and instead of you bringing it up to me directly , end up storm has to appear and convey your feelings.... then its true that i should check my harsh words and not treat you as an equal or even senior in here..but have to spice up my sentences in here future on with more kind and sweet words... dun worry, i will always try to remember i am talking to a sensitive and delicate reefer in this thread only...
