u can try telling the lfs to get a large large bag so that can put more water and oxygen in the bag..for you to bring back to office and last you till you go home in the evening.... i am sure the fishes come in much smaller bags during their journey to our lfs, longer hours too...thus even if you buy them during lunch time and bring them back to your office...i dun foresee any major problems... unless...your office is freezing cold as many offices are...then u just wrap your sweater or watever and place it in a locker/cabinet first lor dun let it freeze

yeah...but if you can...when those shipment arrive, take time off or half day leave to get the stuff you want....many reefers do that...quite alot of reefers here move around often or have flexi working time, so this kind of acquisition things come easily to them.... for those who have more rigid working schedules...it's a minor handicap when it comes to mid week shipment...so have to use half day leave or time off to go down and get lor... dun worry, that D tang will be here again

never mind lor...at least mid week more chances than early week or weekend...coz seriously most of the stuff people see on weekends were here from wed, thur or fri one..... so those midweek shoppers tend to get the better stuff... but then again..not everyone is free on weekdays u see... most are free on weekends only...so can't be helped lor

he travels quite often thus do not have much time to maintain as some of us do... so for his time devoted to the tank and yet reap such results...considered not bad liao....

yeah.... every different tang is different...another guy can have another kole tang and yet gobbles down on pellets.... as long as you have sufficient food for them..in terms of nori....pellets...like you said..variety....in due time..they may learn to accept other forms of food...but if it continues to just peck on the rocks...it's just a natural thing for them to do in the wild.... they do eat diatoms...according to some sources... my chevron is from the same bristletooth family....it pecks on rocks....pellets...frozen food...but not too keen on nori though

yeah..variety is best...over-reliance on something is not good... as long as its eating well and water conditions are reasonably good...your kole should do well.....they are not too easily afflicted with ich.... anyway, enjoy your trip tomorrow

yeah... maybe can pick up some gems that others overlooked during the hustle and bustle of the weekend crowd.. you buying live brine shrimp for your fishes ah... i suggest you try to get them off live brine shrimp gradually as soon as you can... adult brine shrimp are essentially not very nutricious...only freshly hatched live brine (baby) has a high nutritional value due to the sacs that they carry...as they grow up... they use up their sacs and not much nutrition left for your fishes also... try other food for your fish if possible...
