yeah lor... my UPS on standby more than half a year liao..only once kick into action due to lightning strike flipped the main powerbox..... less than a minute, i flipped the powerbox back and it went back to AC supply again...lol singapore power quite good lah...barring that recent west area outage

not to mention neighbour complain that i am running a scrambler bike in the hall...lol... kidding lah...if i stay in the states with a huge house with neighbours far away, i'll definitely get one of these on standby..lol yeah lor..die of smoke inhalation

yeah lor...the tangs got bigger and bigger...with the same skimmers...have to cut down load by feeding less and net some out lor....when i had alot ....easy to net them out coz they get distracted during feeding..now left over 10plus pieces...almost impossible to net them out liao...these are the more alert ones..lol wait till my monster skimmer is here lor..then back to the good old days again...but now i am thinking of schooling bartletts instead after seeing planetg's bartletts

no need come see my tank now....u can ask weileong and planetg...empty empty one....no schools of anthias wait till new skimmer come and restock some stuff...then worth the trip...lol... i can see weileong and planetg shaking their heads in disappointment after leaving my place

fowlr quite interesting.....coz fishes are generally more tolerant to higher nitrate levels before you do a water change and you are right...a simple FL light for your viewing pleasure is good enough...less maintenance...so that you can concentrate on other aspects like studies, family and friends also

steady...u must post the brand of the MH bulbs and actinic tubes for the rest of us to try.. wah..seriously if manufacturers can come out with light sets that can guarantee no algae growth..i think it's a sure winner but like i said, if they say their actinic tubes will not encourage nuisance algae growth...that i will agree...not only for their actinic tubes...but other actinic tubes from other brands as well...

wah...got actinic lights that can guarantee no algae growth one ah.... but then the MH bulbs got such guarantee or not? by itself actinic tends not to support nuisance algae...because of the lack of red spectrum in the actinic..but the MH are the full spectrum lights that will indiscriminately provide light for corals and also nuisance algae.... i never know bulbs or tubes can guarantee no algae growth one.... you must post review of such a great product

actually why dun you guys go on sat? i think even for those working, after work on sat is a better day than sunday...coz seriously nothing much, even if any, comes in on saturday evening or sunday...so saturday afternoon/evening should yield a better harvest then sunday
