Yah, agree, willing buyer and seller, blame it on ourselves for not researching before we jump into it. It was when my fishes keep dying then I started my research and came across this forum. Even when I started modifying it's not smooth sailing also. Changed the modifications many times till now then I think its finally fully workable. But sadly, I am going to waste all my efforts as I will be shifting house in March next year Yes, with technology and new additives available, I am sure it will work somehow, but the negative point is that you will have to spend more than others with a properly built tank...

I only reduce $5 and yet so many reefers are keen.. Of course u can but don't think u will get it as the q is pretty long in my opinion

Bro, wall mounted very tough to modify imo... if u can fit in a decent skimmer that is already a bonus imo... I would suggest you keep a simple fowlr with small fishes in order to have low bioload. I think u can also grow some chaeto in a basket at the overflow compartment to act as a natural filtration.
