Maybe because of age. They are about 2 years old already. Bought them from a fellow reefer 5 months ago. Anyone knows the life span of a tang?

Hee hee its 2 PT and 3 YT. Only for a while when I introduced the last YT. Now one big family. One of the issue might be some buzzing sound when the MH fires up. Timer is ok. The only issue I have is changing bulbs. You have to open up the side panel, slide off the dividers and the weight is dame bloody heavy.

Another shot The seaweed are of those yong dao hu type My fish simple loves them. Have tried the dried ones meant for marine fish consumtion type but they don't fancy.

Have just put in dried seaweed for them. Chiong ah!!!!!

The other end of my T5. Only have space for 4ft because of my extension plug used up the 1ft already. If you have notice I have a fan blowing away the hot air between the MH and the water.

Not too sure what the specs of the bulbs are. Bought it as a whole set. Here's a pics of my DIY T5. Only 4 ft. Its about 3.5" away from the water.

I'm using 3 x 150w MH suppliment with 2 x 54w T5 aquantic blue. My Black Galaxy MH are about 11" away from the water and each bulb are 12" away from each other.

Like the previous scaping more leh. Maybe be because the 2 hills are of same height. With different height it might look better
