Are the parts flexible? Wouldn't want to make them unremovable when cleaning the sump.

Too eager to run my FR that I greedily put in all the media into my FR thinking that I could run it longer compared to having it half filled. And when the pump 600L/hr kicked in, only saw brownish SW flow out. Having read from old tread that this is normal for initial run which will clear up in no time. I left it running for a while. Only when the tank cleared then noticed the media had been pump into my main tank. Will be rescaping my tank this weekend and will try to clear them out as much as I can.

Hi any bros out there ever done this before. I'm thinking of converting my old Eheim 2213 canister external filter into a CR.

Hi can any one enlighten me on this. Will running more rowa than the stated vol. of tank do any harm? And if some rowaphos media are escaped into the main tank, is it ok to leave it there or must remove. Its all over the tank, on sandbed and on LRs.

Interesting method Wonder if I can mod my chiller to this method too. Main body in dry area , heat exchanger/ coil in sump. Can show more pics and tell us how you did it? Hope to save some cost in the chilling part. Currently have a 2nd hand 1.25hp chiller.

Just an update of what's going on with my tank now. Have decided to let go my 1.25hp chiller I had bought 2.5 weeks back. It was a difficult decision because of the nights and effort I've put through into touching up and flushing the heat exchanger with vinegar, scrubing and polishing the rust off, clearing excessive silicon which previous owner did for leak prevention. Look so much newer and better now compared to when I first got it. But I think its for the best when I have FR, CR, auto top-up on my list of things to include in the future. Have to make space so bo bian. So in the mean time will be on the look out for another smaller dimension chiller first before any major changes to my list of equipments Any bros out there can recon any chiller with high hp and no bigger than 21" L x 13.5" W x 17.5 H (current chiller size). Height is not an issue but more on the length.

Here's the dimension you guys have asked for. 21" in length (must cater at least 5" for pipings) 13.5" in width 17.5" in height Hope this helps you guys to see if it fits in the space you cater for Don't fall into what I'm going through now.
