Hi, Planning to get a DI unit for water top-up. If i am not wrong there are basically 2 type in the market. 1) DI cartridges that need replacement - Expensive if too much topup is require. 2) DI unit that are rechargeable -Rechargeable Cation-Anion resins. I believed type # 2 will be more economical in the long run. Coorect me if i am wrong Therefore, anyone can recommend me where to get the rechargeable type. (beside aquatechnic one which is EX)

I buy those dry seaweed from the chinese medical shop. One BIG round packet type..from China one. Use it to cook fish soup sometime. Even cheaper than NTUC lei....and a long time also cannot finish

The rocks has been changed. The smell is gone The rocks supplier mentioned that this is a new shipment. He said the rocks on the top of the container during shipment lost contact with water & dry up. Almost dead rock will take more days to cycle & mess up the water. LIVE rocks will settle in very faster.

Hi, One of my friend bought some LR and place it into the tank 1 hours ago. However, the LR rocks really smell, and so does the water. If the rocks are really already DEAD, it is advisable to scrub them & dry them under the SUN to get rid of the smell? Then later put use it again. Worry that the rocks may pollute the water, and LS may be affected. thanks in advance.

I have seen many & engross in the beautiful colour in marine fishes especially those in poster & display tanks. What kind of setup will bring out the COLOUR of FISHES in a FOWLR? Below are some points that I think will help to create that atmosphere. 1) Need to have Clear water. 2) Proper Lighting. 3) Fish food for colours in fish. 1) Please contribute the any ideas beside those listed above. 2) Also, any idea how can we do better in the above points?
