Yup... U are absolutely right! there is another hole at the cap. It uses gravity to pull the water down to the tank. There is another valve to control the flow rate. The tube in the bottle does not goes all the way to the bottom to prevent it from draining the kalk residue...

Hi, Yes, u can use a 18w for a 21 watt ballast, but however u will burn out the bulb fast~~ Not recommended
