  1. Those on the fins should be cauliflower, but the pic with the growth near the gills.... is it a open wound? u can try waterlife marazyn too.... Caution: I read somewhere that furan is quite toxic to us....(marazyn is carcinogic too ^.^ formeleyde) so use glove when handling them.

  3. At 55gal, I would say yes to regal tang, but both fish will outgrow the tank very fast. I won't recommend it with a powder brown tang. They are gonna whack each other real bad... I do ever see one reefer with 6 powder blue... However with a 250 gal tank... I've never tried power brown before, but I find powder blue easy, as long as u quarantine the fish first.
  4. Correct me if i am wrong, but you should be experiencing copepods on your tank. Plenty of super tiny stuffs on the glass wall rite? I have the same problem as you. They are hazardous in huge qty....I've lost a regal angel before due to this... The larvae will float on the water and that irritates the fish when it hooks on the fishes. Therefore it does looks like ick. You can minimise the discomfort by: 1. Scrubber if you have (Soak the plates in fresh water to kill them. Scrubbers are good harvesting ground. ) 2. Run a filter through a filter sock. (micron size type) 3. Introduce a mandrian fish ( Would prefer to have them quarantined first to prevent ick introduction) Below attached image is what I previously captured. Pardon the blur image as this is caught with a 20X eye lupe together with a 3X camera zoom and they keep moving >.< (Total 60X Zoom??) Could any expert figure out?
  5. I notice many small specs (seriously small dots) on the glass wall. Previously I have this outbreak in large numbers and it causes the fish to scratch against the rocks. I had initially thought it is ick. I lowered the salinity (did not improve the condition), removed all rock and sand for 2 months... everything went fine and now i see it coming back. Anyone one had this encounter before? It had kill one of my regal before and copper is the last option i would want to consider. http://www.mombu.com/aquarium/aquarium/t-h...ef-1748982.html
  6. I read Vodka increases both the good and bad bacteria. I do notice some caluliflower growth on my regal angel. Not sure if that is due to the effect of the carbon dosing, but I turn on my UV just in case. Anyone has such encounters or any downside of this dosing regime?

  14. Thank for all the interest. I am currently pulling back the sales as it got a very nasty slash by the resident pbt. Will post again if it manages to recover.
  15. Selling as it is bullied by resident powder blue. - Eats pellet/nori/mysis - ick free and currently in hypo water. Those with QT facility can slowly raise the salinity (If not have to wait for ard a week while i raise it) Collection @ punggol.
  16. Bro, last attempt if it does not eat... Try clam in half shell..... good luck!!
  17. Yes, I saw this too!! If i do not have an existing, I would have bought it. The colour is very vibrant! Good catch. I was still wondering if this is a red sea specimen Try using Seachem entice to soak the food. U can buy this at seaview aquarium. Try brine shrimp or Angel formula too...
