NEW PROBLEM!!!!!! just add on help, don't need create new topic Rencenly i added Nitratelock, found that my MG drop super fast, yesterday 980PPM, i still adding salifert MG power Now 11 AM, MG now is 720 PPM My MG power should be adding 400 PPM per day , whereby i shouldn't add more then 200 PPM per day. I no choice, the MG drop faster then what i added. I not sure who cause it, it drop very fast. My NO3 from problem 100PPM, now 50 PPM, i never heard No3 remover will cause MG down right????????

hi, i hope i was wrong too. I using salifert and topic marin and AP on CA alone. AP show 480 PPM TM show 490 PPM Sali show 490 PPM should be 486.666 PPM AP taken 1 day before TM and Salifert. Digital PH 8.7 Salifert PH = lazy to use. should sell it AP PH = lazy to use. Buffer 7.0 buffer 4.0 But never mind, my problem solved by my stupid hurry idea, ( water change 40%) alot stress

too late, my CA drop to 410 PPM after 40% water change Now found one of my blue tang sudden got ich problem. sian....

just bought bubble and is a easy stony corals right? but if place wrongly, can kill him within fews days. Now my is place at Q.box. before place to main tank. hi, no i don't have calcium reactor because it always stay 450 PPM, sometime will self increase , also worry abt CA, I read many forum and book, normal will drop instead increase. Yup, i seldom change water, maybe once every 3 mths to 4 mths. if water change, will MG drop? normally salt had CA in package, i not sure got correct MG and other parameter ....... Ok, i try water change soon

thanks man, both of u correct, my DKH got problem, Now my DKH is 7 But my PH is 8.7 (digital) i had use buffer 7 to double check digital PH meter, correct. Am i right that if i increase KH, PH will also increase? If yes, what to do? I need to +KH and -PH now.. how?

My MG always drop to 1140 PPM My CA always increase to 490 PPM If not wrong, most of u will decrease CA by itself and that why using Calcium Reactor, right???? My tank will auto increase CA I try salifert powder, i will go back to 1350 within 2 days, but 3 days later drop to 1140 PPM. I had spending alot $$ to maintain MG PPM pls help

Is yuma also mushroom? I got afew yuma, some at far left and some far right, Both away from light are equal. But left is unhealthy , right grow great. Water current ,left is moderate, right is low Is it yuma need very low current??

Must agree with Matt06, Don't follow my step, all my coalline algae dead during cycle. Too late, spend alot of money buy live rock for cycle, yet don't know the important of C.algae. too late. too late. I only able to make 1 or 2 LR to have good C.alage, the rest need very long time because i can't one by one take out, all step up and with coral, i think i will take years to rebuild all LR with full of coaline algae. here is some of my shut down setup for LR now going to be inside store room This is after take out CO2 from planted tank to test out my LR

yup yup. anyway the book doesn't said anything abt sandbed. push down PH will promote Coralline algae fast BUT of course maybe gave other problem I hope everyone understand,this is the fastest way to promote Coralline algae ONLY. Sandbed and other problem, i can't one by one answer to everone, example, maybe i will shoot up NO3, i don't know and i didn't care during that test. My 1 ft test tank only have test PH and CA for 2 mths, of course my chiller run 27 degree during that time. My Testkit is salfert , not cheapo one, cause $$ just for test out. During to testout i kill my fresh water planted tank, due to lack CO2, later tonight i post some pics. If anyone want to test out at my place, hope he/she can lend me co2 ( i can't afford take away from fresh water planted tank just to test out again) bring yr own 1x LR without Coralline algae, 1x LR with abit Coralline algae, but most must able to fit in 1 feet tank. last, contribute abit $$ for my chiller during testout again. 2 mths confirm make yr (without Coralline algae) become Coralline algae

Coralline algae will die. Before yr cycle complete, try used CO2 to push down PH to 6.5 so that Coralline algae will grow fast, but CA must have 450 PPM and remember that NO FISH NO CORAL, sure die. when everything ready, remember to stop CO2 to gain back PH 8.2

I have better idea. But need 2 tank. I study it from book. Just want to spread Coralline algae fast, Push PH to 6.5 , CA remain 450 PLS remind that no fishes and coral should be inside. To push ph 6.5, u need CO2 to push down, Yr tank should not big otherwise need alot CO2. The fastest way to get Coralline algae , I testing 2 stones only, it work fast.

I have 6 moon coral. I just bought this new one , 2 weeks ago it since like this moon don't open at all whereby i had afew moon already happy live in my tank for 6 mths plus. what happen to this moon?
