i simply take out all the liverocks..and rinse them through with freshwater for 2 mins took me a whole day to reconfigure my setup

whats the difference between a 9w and a 25w uv lamp?

thanks bro/sis my uncle gave me his uv steriliser which he used last time to run on his arowana tank.. then..i read more about it..and found out that it cant be use with saltwater any recommendations on a good uv steriliser which is suitable for marine setup?.. and what is the price range?

hi..if i were to do a 20-30% water change for my 4 footer how should i go about doing it? Should I... 1.Remove 20-30% of the water from main tank 2. -Mix Salt with Distilled water then add into tank OR - Use NSW..(heard that there are parasites in them..how true is that) OR - Just Add Distilled water without any salt mix if i would to use method 1..surely cost me a bomb..to get salt and D/O unit for removing impurities from tap water if i use method 2 i fear of parasites entering the main tank.. if i use method 3..what about the salinity of the tank?..

icic..thanks bros for the valuable info! after much thought about it.. i maybe running one on my 4 footer tangs only tank my tangs are now all infested with the dreaded ich jus hope that i am able to save up in time to get the UV before they "up the lorry" =(...all are doing fine and feeding well.. no signs of shyness...but the irritating ich jus wun leave them alone.. like the previous thread says "I DECLARE WAR"
