  7. Feed alot = Grow Big n Nice Don't Feed = still okay..they will still grow... rmbr the logic and question yourself "who hand-feeds the corals in the ocean?"..
  8. Large Polyp Stony Corals are generally larger calcareous corals with large fleshy polyps. The degree of extension of the tentacles depends upon the amount of light, current, and whether the coral is feeding or not. Most of the LPS corals produce long sweeper tentacles which they use to keep any other organisms a safe distance away. Extracted from LiveAquaria again all credits goes to them
  9. In general, the Small Polyped Stony corals have small polyps on a calcerous skeleton. In many instances they are either branching or plated. SPS corals are generally considered more difficult to keep than the LPS or soft corals and are not recommended for beginners. Info Extracted From Live Aquaria.. All credits goes to them

  14. yupp..a gread dad he is!.. we upgraded tank alot of time.. started with a 2ft Nisso tank with OHF.. then a 2ft with internal filter system then a 4ft with overflow to sump and now a bigger 4 ft!.. more info bout my dad~ haha.. he used to have a marine tank during his younger days.. mixed his own salt..and use an Eheim canister for filtration... caught his own livestock ranging from wrasses to seahorse, spikey urchins to funny corals.. from singapore waters..but he said they never survive a week under his care.. cos last time theres no such things as testkits and skimmers...

  17. ok..after one whole night of measuring and sortings.. finally did the return for the overflow with a ball valve.. the concept there is..i need not siphon water to start the overflow system.. simply open the ball valve..and water will start running through the pipes.. thus creating a siphoning/back flow effect..
  18. heres the inlet pipe to the resun md55.. sealed up the other hole cos i have no use for it ) and the white things sticking out is the return pipe for the skimmer.. pretty neat huh
  19. heres the piping from my overflow box to the sump.. took me n my dad 1 hr to get the pipings all done
  20. the engine that drives the babie~.. it must be the RESUN MD55 okay..as seen here..its piped up to the sump already.. my dad did the drilling of the holes thru the cabinet.. took a long time to measure and get the dimensions correct..
