Hey bro. I have bought a bubble stopper from Bio-Ocean and at the time D.I.Y a small compartment to cover my main pump by proper measured plastics and it really works for me Now I can see NO micro bubbles in my tank at all cheers

Hi folks, recently a friend of mind have diatom algae on his tank and his tank is already 2-3 years since started reefing hobby. I measured ALL parameters including P.H and phosphate but the reading seems alright Since brownish algae infection he has been performing 20% of water change instead 10%, also filters were changed weekly and ROWA phos were also replaced just last weekend together with AquaPharm activated carbon when I helped him to change water. Presently skimmate oozing out from his 32" beckett is brillant and he had reduced his 150W MH lighting period from 8-5 hours currently. Worst of all just 2 days back fishes in his tank were infected with white spots and since then 3 fishes were dead I am suspecting high nutrients in the tank but is there a way to trace them? Exactly how is it to maintain and have an excellent water quality tank? Any experts here can share their knowledge with me so that I can advise him what precautions to take in future.

Hi folks, recently a friend of mind have been reefing for about two years and recently there is a mess break out of fishes with white spots and thus gradually his fishes died one by one I measured his parameters and every reading seems normal His using a very powerful 32" beckett and skimmate oozing out is brillant. He also told me ever since the tank started having this problem about three months ago his been performing 20% water change every week and replaces filters every week, he is also using (Aquapharm) activated carbon and (Rowa) phos which he replaces them every month. I also noticed that his tank sandbed have turned brownish (diatoms). Temperature inside tank is about 25C as his using a 20K 150W MH. I tried to diagnose the problem but to no avail as I was baffled Can anyone here assist me in giving xome helpful advise on this issue? cheers

I agree Iwarna has come from bad to WORST as they seldom or never post any news regarding new shipment arrival and by the time we reach there most of the stocks have been sold...... boh bian as their business too good so some fry like us will not be entertain......

Hi bro. temperature in marine reef definately play a part as all marine creatures are cold blooded so it is always advisable to keep temperture as low as possible That is why most of us use chiller to maintain low temperature cheers

Hi bro. pardon me if I have indirectly offended you as I did not finish reading your threads You mentioned your tank have ICH or ICK but have you ever try to perform water changes every week (try 20% if you have been doing 10%) and is your skimmer good and powerful enough to assist in removing D.O.C from the tank? I have learnt that ALL tanks will inevitably have certain amount of parasites in them and it is a matter of how we can maintain excellent water quality to prevent lost of fishes or invertabrates when they experience stress due to impurities that pollutes the water I have also came a long way by learning the hard way to understand biology and ecosystem on marine reefing but pardon me again for being straight forward as I would not perform any adding of medications until I fully understand the facts of marine biology and ecosystem Cheers bro.
