I meant carbon hehe silly me Oh so Iodine works the same way for Marine shrimps as FW shrimps does... er ok somehow that sentence seems weird haha woke up too late lar... Anyway any "branded" Iodine to recommend? And for a 2ft tank is 1 drop of Iodine enough?

ok I'm gonna ask a totally newbie qn... wat kinda effect does charcoal have when I've them in my hang on filter? And does Iodine helps my shrimps in anyway?

I'm quite fond of eels but the only eels I think that're safe for shrimps are garden eels (rite?) Aquamarin just came in a shipment today... wonder how much they cost n whether they're difficult to maintain

know exactly wat u mean as I'm keeping Freshwater shrimps too but its fun searching for them and watching them preen the plants and rocks...

Thanks terryz and damien for the advise... I've actually scrap the idea of a SH tank as well as the 15" Cube tank... now going for a normal 2ft Nano setup of shrimps and gobies/blennies... What do you guys think of the following tank Occupants: 2 Harlequin Shrimps 4-5 ###### Shrimps 3-4 cleaner shrimps 2 boxer shrimps (r they known as pistol shrimps?) 2 pistol shrimps 2Pipefish 2-3 Firefish What corals can I add? Is blue crocea diff to maintain?

Hi Terryz, can advise me on the various frags and if possible a website where I can ID them and if possible their prices as well... I wanna budget and save up while cycling the tank so that I can hopefully have enough cash to get them in 2-3 weeks time...

thanks Terryz and Ian for the advise... maybe I shld provide more specs of my 15" cube tank... It'll be running on a 1x18w PLL or 2x18w PLL (depending on lighting requirements by the corals but I know SH dun like strong lights) I'll only have a hang on filter thus current will be minimal as SH dun like high water flow... Hmmm one more thing, is there any website or link that I can research on the compatibilites of corals and SH?

Hi guys, I'm intending to setup my 15" cube tank for SH, any advice on the kinda rocks/corals that's suitable for SH. Shrooms are aka as frags rite? (I'm kinda new but read somewhere there meant the same... I think ) I love mushrooms but dunno if they're suitable... Any advise and suggestions welcome
