My durso drain pipe is almost 2.5inch diameter and I am using only 1262. I would go for larger pipe if my tank overflows oompartment allows.

Hi Gouldian, the 24hour LFS at C328 does sell them. Comes in single size of 1ft by 6inch. They can be connected like jigsaw to form larger pieces. Selling at $1 per piece. Placed facing the back entrance.

WTS ~1 red pail of Live Rocks & coral chips. Coral chips at bottom of pail around 2inch high, rest filled with Live Rocks (inclusive of 2 tonga branch). Looking at $10. Collection at Choa Chu Kang Ave 3.

I think you need at least 1 to 2 tubes of Aquablue+ (white) light for your corals. Else the lighting might be insufficient for them. FYI, i am using Giesemann [2 x Aquablue+ with 2 x Actinic+]. Corals wise look ok. I have noticed my corals during dawn, dusk simulation with only 2 x Actinic+ only, the corals does not expand as big.

You may try adding a octopus during your final stages of cycling to catch pests. Just make sure to remove it before adding your other lifestocks. As for the octopus, either you donate it or return it to the LFS.

Hi lcf425, Just use your tank volume (in liters) multiply by the turnover rate (10 ~ 15). This should be the turnover that Steven is recommending. Thus size your return pump based on this turnover will do. For your 3x2x2 ft tank, its hold ~340liters, thus a return of 3400~5000liters/hour will just be nice.

Yeah.. Normally those house brands are the cheapest. eg. NTUC, Giant. Take note is distilled water or Pure drinking water NOT mineral water that you buy.
