Bcos for most of us who don't own a car and travel by public transport. It will be MRT and buses. Taxi is considered a luxury. By MRT and buses, the daily cost will be ~$3-$6 for a 2-way trip. Thus it is <$200 per month if purely travel by MRT and buses.
