Thanks Gouldian, divinesloth. I tried reading up a little bit, seems to suggest dKH and Calcium 1st but then IF without enough Mg, Ca will precipitate out. Not sure if the precipitation occurs when only high Ca(>420ppm) meet with low Mg Or that Ca will precipitate in general without enough Mg. If the second case is true, that means I can't increase Ca to the required level without adding Mg?? Dreamlover, thanks for the additives.. If needed more, maybe got to buy some from you if you got spare? My main and sump tanks volume is ~160gallons without rocks. Got a lot of water to boost up the elements.

Hi Guys, I just measure my tank 3 times over the last 3 months. My Ca,Mg,dKH level still very low. Currently using NSW for WC. Adding distilled water and IWARNA top-up to counter evaporation. Ca: ~350 ppm Mg: ~1050 ppm dKH: ~5.5 Yesterday just got some additives MgCl2, CaCl, NaHCO3 from Gary bulk order.. Thanks to dreamlover.. Thus was thinking to add these additives slowly to boost up. But the question is what element to boost up first? Also, can I boost up 1 element to the required level (eg, dKH to 7) before targetting on another element? Thanks for any advice.

Sound logical.. But bro lemon is also correct if you know beforehand what you are dealing with. For venom from lionfish and foxface, the venom break down under heat. Thus if the hand is immersed in hot water, it will break down the venom and reduces its effects. But it has to be done ASAP before the venom spread. But you got to know this beforehand. Else i would stick to Nitro method if i knew nothing<< my opinion.

Bro, i am thinking to dip the whole overflow box into your tank and invert it to let water into the "siphon tube". Then turn it back upright and lift it out of water to wipe dry the exterior, before you fix it up. Just my idea..

But that's unlike the normal ugly one that i had which is active in the day. This morning saw the shells are not there.. and a few crawling around.. The carpenter wrasse and another 2 blue flasher wrasse that i got on Sun got wacked by my wrasse (Halichoeres melanurus). Now sticking 3 small mirrors around the tank to divert its attention however it got my Yellow Tang admiring herself almost the whole day.
