is there a picture of a pan-caked screen?
-
i think keep the jar in air con room but under direct sunlight might be an idea.

additives can remove nitrates!? wow!
the only ones i know off usually require the aquarist to keep a watchful eye for adverse behavior, standby air pump blah blah blah, enough to scare me redi.

Have the above and would like to pass it on. Its a peaceful fish, very docile in nature. It's been with me for close to a month and I have since trained it to feed on pellets although it loves mysis and will slurp them up readily. Size is possibly 4cm ish.
Read more about it http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=...83&aid=1871
Collect from my place at west coast, walking distance from west coast plaza.
Feel free to drop by for viewing or test feeding.
$10

hey thanks for sharing angellove. Yeah the recent sri lanka shipment. yesterday i check J1R3H has 2 more pieces, very nice size, very expensive but health wise is questionable. then the lady boss say until sri lanka shipment golden butterfly super rare blah blah blah.
Actually i like this fish alot, wanted to buy but now since i know red sea has richer coloration, I think wait lor for next red sea shipment. Middle this week I asked ah beng when the shipment coming, he say not sure maybe 2-3 weeks.

Just recently I found out that Golden Butterflies are not just found in Red Sea but also in Sri Lanka.
Is there any difference between specimens found in these 2 places?
supposedly sri lankan specimens are more rare? but most imptly in terms of coloration, etc. is there difference?
Thanks guys!

thread closed due to mistake in the size
refer to new thread. the fish is 5cm

Hey all,
apologize for previous duplicate post. I got the size wrong in the previous thread.
have a bicolor angel for sale. approximately 5cm in size, slightly less than that.
it has been with me for a month. I've since trained it to feed on pellets.
no ich, no sickness, in great health. come by to view.
I apologize, I have no pictures, that fish just wouldn't stay still and if i use flash, the reflection makes the picture pointless to show.
$8 first come first serve. you can come by to test feed. no problem with that.
Collection at west coast just 5mins walk from west coast plaza.

this is funky stuff! where did u get it from?

consider a setup based solely on algae screen filtration
you get to save on skimmer and FR
-
use a sponge, soak inside vinegar, put the sponge on those stains. let it stay overnight. next day should see some results, some stains can wipe off already. repeat the process. vinegar take time to react.
perhaps you may try to avoid contact with the silicon. i don't know what adverse reaction vinegar have on silicon

Dear all,
Wish to sell my 4mth old 70W MH set for $100. Contact me john @97813303
The following is what you get:
1. 1x 70W Electronic MH ballast. (runs very cool, very compact)
2. 3x bulbs 20,000K gives beautiful pale blue tint (can easily last you for 2-3 yrs conservatively speaking)
3. Miscellaneous wiring (will include proper plugs not shown here)
After sales services provided:
Since this is a DIY set, I can adjust the wire length to suit your needs, can even hook up a time switch into the MH (refer to second pic)
If you need help to fit it on, wire it up, DIY a stand or whatever, just cover those costs, I can do it for you. I won't charge for labor.
Feel free to contact me to ask about it.
Advantage:
1. very nice ripple effect
2. more than 1/2 the power consumption of entry-level 150W MH
3. Nano SPS? this set will possibly be all you need.
Disadvantage:
as this is a DIY set and 70W isn't very convetional, replacements will be tricky. that's why i bought 3 bulbs to solve that issue. should anything else go wrong, I can still direct you to get the parts. just take a bit more time and effort that's all. I don't foresee anything bad, but just felt that I need to inform potential buyer.
Reasons for selling
1. it doesn't fit nicely in my tank hood, looks very ugly the way its done on my setup
2. I run a FOWLR, don't need a MH afterall
3. I have a serious micro-bubble problem, and using FL lighting makes it less apparent
This second picture is to show what additional customization I can do for you as a favor. I can hook a time swtich to it, board mount it, make it a very compact unit etc. at your request.

swear by the algae scrubber.
I have 11 fish both big and small, feed 5 times a day, no skimmer, no water change, nitrate capped at 25ppm using tetra test kit.
