  1. Very nice and healthy looking sps..
  2. Yes, a DI unit is good enough. However, if you wish to extend the "life" of DI resin, it's better to run a RO unit before DI unit.
  3. Yes, but please use a new clean cloth. You can use those magnet cleaner commonly sold in LFS but make sure no sand is caught in between the 2 pieces or else it may scratch the acrylic
  4. Calcium advantage is used to raise Ca, it does not really raise Mg, if any.
  5. Just a suggestion, with regards to having the inlet and outlet on the same side, perhaps adding a hose after the inlet so that water exit from the other side of the tub can encourage water to pass thru the chaeto before exiting back to the sump.
  6. IMO, its better to leave the cabinet fan on 24/7 because you won't know when the chiller will kick in. It can get pretty warm in the cabinet.
  7. This one got potential.. Potential to be fragged.. Haha..
  8. I remember reading somewhere that its not necessary to dose potassium if regular water change is performed, unless you're running zeovit system.
  9. I think one of the syringe is green when it is indicated as blue in the instruction. The flexible tube is to extract distill water from the bottle, I believe the length doesn't really matters. I have a question too. Must the kit be kept in the fridge as indicated in the instruction?
  10. Mine open up within 30mins.. Healthy frag..
  11. WC should be able to bring your nitrite down and replenish the trace elements.
  12. Yes, Seachem buffer will increase pH and kH at the same time. pH at 7.8 during light off period is quite common. I believe increasing water movement on the surface will encourage gas exchange, hence reducing the amount of CO2(acidic) in the water too.
  13. It is usually used with a Calcium Reactor. You need a low ph for the media to "release" calcium.
  14. They're different. Mysis is white in color and brine shrimp is orange in color.
