My wife always asked me how is the food I cooked today ? If I tell her it taste bad or it is worse than the last meal then that's it ...... no food for the next few weeks .... so i always tell her .. can be better .... inorder to have food on the table everytimes i comes home ..... I never tell my wife how much I spent on things I buy -- this is the first rule I lay out when we get married - Separate finance. As each have our own hobby ..... Shiok with all the traffic lights - it is tortured .....unless you drive to malaysia frequently ...... Anyway i am not the driver .... my dear friend is looking around after selling of his BMW Z3 which is a manual one - he told me he get sick of all the traffic lights and his wife also want to have some fun after driving her BMW 318 for too long .. woman don't like to play with gears. As for petrol consumption, I am sure if he could afford the 3500 a year insurance Z3 ... the petrol is the least concern to him

If you are using Sea water - make sure you clean the water thoroughly by pasing thru some kind of UV lights to kill off any unecessary microbes ....esp those from the mantis shrimp .. my tank used to be plagued by mantis shrimp larva in the past .... Reasons why you shouldn't use Sea water. 1) Too many uninvited guest eg. mantis shrimp, hydroid etc. 2) Sea water is low in Calcium - need to add more Cal 3) It Contains Silicate and Phosphate which will fuel your aglae boom. 4) Salinity can be quite low - eg. 1.018 around some part of singapore eg worldtrade Centre. 5) Seawater around singapore polluted by the many drainage system nearby As for your nitrates problem, just remove your bioballs and clean them like thoroughly - it should be a biweekly maintenance if you are sticking to bioballs. It is useful to have a refugium to contain enough good bacteria to act as buffers . The nitrate are usu accumulated in the tank ... detritus settled on the rocks and the sandbed - you can try siphonin the top layer of sand on the following week and then follow by a 30% water change. My 2 cents worth .

When driving home one day, I witness one accident some time back. Bus travelling up the slope at hill view towards the junction and turn left into upper bukit timah as it was green light for turning left... and out of nowhere came a fire engines travelling at high speed along Upper bukit timah road ..... smashed right into the bus ......crashes into the front of the turning vehicle .....glass shattering everywhere ...... fire engine upon impact tilted and lost its balance ....and landed on the side ... and slid 20 metres down the road hitting the centre divider The windscreen, windows from both side of the bus were completely shattered... passenger in a dazed ... but not injured ..... it was like a cinema show .... the fire man got trapped in the vehicle .... ..causes massive jam .... firemen running around to evacuate the fireman trapped - though not sure how many were trapped but the bus driver was injured. The incident didn't appear in the papers See how the chenghu personel can be a road hazard also .. due to speeding ..

The car was also travelling in a straight road and ... the lady was crossing the road at the rear of the bus ..... But don't worry so much .. your case not as serious . I got mime 6 point demerit 5 years back when I dashed red light .. I learned mime. Later, They change the demerit points for dashing red light.

She was hit by a car. Fun is fun but I am also wondering whether the person behind the wheels can find any excuse in this case. Even if he had ... he wouldn't feels good

My mum-in-law close friend just got knock on the road ... it appears in the newspaper ...I think about 3 days back.. Incident: It was raining heavily - The lady alight the bus with her friend. As the bus was still at the bus-stop picking up passengers , her friend walk to the front of the bus and the lady walk to the rear of the bus. Her friend crossed the road and turned back but he didn't find his lady friend on this side of the road .. turning back further ..he saw her friend being hit real hard ...immediately.. she flew up in the air .... and landed on the the back of her head. There was alot of blood.... At the point her heart stopped beating ......A bystander ... rushed over and gave a mouth to mouth resuscitation... The ambulance came and brought her to the hospital ... minutes later she was pronounced brain dead and passed over almost less than an hour. Her male friend was shaken .... and cry in the workplace ... almost everyday ....as they go to work everyday taking the same bus and the same road ... It is very shocking to hear such news .... even though it is the lady's fault to crossed the road recklessly .. as i believe some pedestrian will cross the road when there is oncoming cars ... But what I don't understand is how come the driver didn't see her ... I also heard from my in-law that the driver drove away immediately ... but drove back after some time...

It is some kind of hydroid - related to jelly fish family ... I used to had that in my tank ... some of mime are pretty big... it started when I buy some sea water from the LFS ....... after 3 to 4 months ... these guy just disappeard ... though I was wondering whether to keep them alive by feeding some 20 mirco food I got from the states ....... - I think it shows your tank is booming with LIFE

After I fragged, I performed target feeding to the bugger everyday with bioplankton until visible recovery is noticed then I stopped. Hope yours turn out well
