I think it is best to leave it in that case because they might grow back. I saw another acro growing back and covering the dead skeleton - but the algae covered is very minimal before that.

I think the price paid depend on the cars brands not the girls.

One of my monti tip sort of got burned from the adjacent coral thus ...the tissue sort of die off ... the next thing i know Algae start growing onto the tip. i was contemplating whether to remove that dead portion ...since there is aglae growing on it. Recently I realise something very interesting - the monti couldn't grow over the algae covered portion instead it grows into another branch beside the algae covered portion. I think it got to do with the volume of the CR if I am not wrong. Just change my CR cause the one I DIY was having a slight leak. The new one I bought off the shelve doesn't seems to be performing well.. Used to maintain the KH and Cal with no problem with my DIY. The new one I bought quite a cheapo one used only 1/5 of the media from my DIY (10Kg) ...... thanks LS for the cal and KH info ... will see if I could push it up further .... untouchables, I having the same Cr brand as you. Not sure if you experience cloudiness when push KH higher ? rdgs

Yah ... looks like the effluent KH is pretty low. My drip rate is pretty fast - it is about 4 bps. I will try increasing the CO2 and see how it goes or lower the effluent bps. Cheers

The effluent is only at 12 dkh ... if the output is high in KH .. the tank cal. level should drop but mime is 490 - doesn't sound like alot of KH to me. Monitoring closely to see the depletion rate.

Thanks for all the advice. I am using RO/DI water... I had only added water to salt mix once ... the following water changes was done adding salt to water...... and this is only about 20 litres of water ... will take note of that the next time .. The cal level was 490 ppm initially ph was normal 8.1 - 8.3 .. the mag level was 1300 .. then I managed to bring it down cal to 420 ppm (8 dkh) with KH additive.. . but the next day it will fall again... the Cal reactor output was more than 10 dkh ... now trying to add via Kalk .... and increase bubble count to 1 bps.. I think the last resort is to change salt mix ..... in fact just bought this bucket of coralife ...sigh ...

Did some major clean up .... so changes about 30 - 40 % of the water. I just switch to Coralife from instant ocean becasue instant ocean run out of stock. i noticed that the KH from Coralife is only about 5 KH ..... no wonder my dkh keeps dropping when doing water changes .... I don't expect to have high dKH but 5 is pretty low to me. Has anybody measure the KH from other saltmix before ?

I went there with my wife ... i told her I am eyeing for a new car ....sort of look at the babe also .. Ask for Nissan muranno price sheet - they don't have any, they are also not sure whether it is coming in or not, looks like they are for US market. The peugeot 407 is also quite impressive .... but then european car.. not much faith. i find the gals are very pretty but alot of them don't really have the shape ... either the face very pretty and the legs like elephant trunk or the figure very good but the face not very pretty .. of course there are exceptions .... I think the mazda section fare pretty well ... my wife also agreed. I also ended up arguing with my wife whether the girl we saw standing i think in front of the Honda booth is a racequeen or not ... because she was so plain looking. And she was. But one thing for sure the sale person for those high performance cars are also of very high standard ...eg. check out the lambo section.

Just tested this camera with a friend ... good macro ...12 x optical zoom. 1000 ... I was quoted 920.

I tested a Ricoh before ... I think it was a R300 or something .... sometime back already the color reproduction was not good .. it turn out with a slight tint of blue .. not sure about this model .. got to take note though the macro is superb .. even with a 500 dollar cam they have superb macro capabilities. my 2 cents.

Maybe better go check your liverock out .... you may have some finding.
