Come saturday, after our nation's birthday fever... it was time for me to put my water to the test. Been 3 weeks since the start of my tank's cycling process. Salifert should do a fine job.......

Here's a tank shot of "my aphrodisiac". Although its only LR for now, but its already enough for me to feel so happy. New look under the lights - 3 x ATI aquablue spezial n 1 x ATI blue plus.

Adding the finishing touches for my auto top-up. Next it was time to change the impeller for my new return pump, which was making quite some noise from the start. Surprised that a Hydor product can be defective from purchase.

Hey guys, sorry for the late update. Been busy lately... Anyway, my tank maker Steve came over on national day's eve to fix up some outstanding stuff for me.

Hey bro.... see that you have fishes (chromis) already in your tank. Have to say that its looking nice and neat..... but is your tank fully cycled and ready for livestock yet?
-
hey bro.... maybe a shot of your sump for us to see? I'm quite interested in takin a look at your whole system....

Hmmm...... it will be everything except SPS for now. Yeah i will be putting in some wavemakers, as mentioned in my previous postings. Hopefully, it will remove the deadspots in the tank.
-
Thanks for the compliment bro. Its just a humble set-up of mine. Of course i can't wait to put in my first livestock, but i guess it will be worth my patience with this set-up to wait for it to be fully cycled.

Anyway guys, feel free to give me some comments about this new look if you have any opinions. Will always be looking for ways to improve my tank further, with help from you ppl.

Once again, a portrait shot of my tank as of last night. Pls note that the tank is being illuminated by my 2ft lightset for the shots and will inevitably look a little 'poor'. Things will remain like that for now till my lights arrive tomorrow evening.

Decided to carry out a minor rescape of my tank last night. My intention was to make the rock-scape more spacious with holes and crevices for future livestock to swim through, and also to improve current flow within the LR's. Here's the new look.

Haha sorry bro...... not much updates for now, since my tank is still in the cycling stage. Its going to be about 3 weeks now, so let's see how the tank has progressed when i put it to the test (Salifert). Stay tuned for new updates very soon!!

Hmm... alright point noted. Will see what i can do about it. Thanks!

Thanks for the compliment bro dominik! I believe all the reefers here are too busy with the fishes for me to be worried.
-
Haha thanks alot bro KennethK, i actually hand-picked them from all over the island. Hope it looks good tho'. All the scaping that day was back-breaking.
-
Hmmm..... i will be adding a new Hydor Koralia 3 and a old Seio 620 from my previous set-up soon. Step by step mah, slow and steady. Hope that can suffice.

Cleaned the neck of my BM 250's collection cup. No skimmate yet, probably due to the low loading now... but still... here's what i got after wiping it.

Finally completed after 3 hours of hard, back-breaking work. But i am quite satisfied with my results. What do you say guys?
-
Haha.... finally i had to do my fair share of work too. She got tired and it was now my turn to display my creativity... or lack of?! Guys pls note, this is a temporary lighting from my current 2ft used only for the scaping to allow more visibility. Tank will be covered in darkness till my T5 arrives next week.
