You are right! The impeller was stuck! After cleaning, everything back to normal! Solid, got feedback one. Never knew that!

Modified the sump to add in the baffles and have an external pump.

My sand.....mixture of 3 types. My thoughts were that by using the very fine riversnad, can have a thinner DSB....dunno whether have any detrimental effect.

The styrofoam provided was very thick, and everyone was talking about a DSB (or plenum system) then. So had to find a thinner styrofoam....stylo milo right? Haha.... And some water proofing....hopefully can prolong life of my wood......

Cabinet cost me $320.....I think compared to what is avail now, like very expensive....but they help me shift the tank also lah.....

For the fun of it, decided to post series of old pictures of my tank: This was before I move the tank from my Mom's house to my own in Feb 2003. Had the tank for about 8 years already and was in total neglect. The ABS wood was expanding, so the first thing was to remake the cabinet. At that time, my tank oso BB leh.... hahah.... I just kept the tank, with the idea that one day, one day it will be revived again!

Help! I have this alarm sound coming out from either the Tunze 7095 or the 6100. Shut it off becos it is late......anyone got any experience with this? To be more exact, my 7095 is in sequential mode 1, and the alarm sound only occurs when channel 2 is on. If I am in sequential mode 2, then the sound is continuous. I have to suspicion - that the 7095 has some sort of pre-emptive warning alarm OR that one of my transformers is spoilt. Anyway, will take a closer look tomorrow..... Tinend, Joe and Dickson, I tomorrow morning no chance, afternoon subject to my completion of housework. It is worth it to keep the wife happy ....

What is that? Is it the bubble looking algae? Yes, I always pull out, but grow fast. It worries me that it will overtake the tank some day..... Yah, I know. I am actually posting this sale on behalf of my brother in law. He stays in Hougang ave 10. Price is 350. No more Live Stock left. All have been cleared. Will try my best to list: 1) Tank is 8mm glass with black silicone. In my opinion, the workmanship is very good. Can fight with aquatechnique, but it is not braceless. Overflow is not the glass type, but is a pipe within the tank. Hence it should not take up much tank volume. 2) Below, the sump has the usual compartment for pre-filter and bio-media. There are 2 weipro pumps, one for the return and the other driving a weipro skimmer. 3) Within the tank, there is 1 Seio pump 620 if I remember correctly 4) in the hood, there are 2 FL lighting housing. 1 with Arcadia bulk, the other forgotten. 5) On the back, there is a mutiplug connected, so that all accesories receive power, and the tank has one main power socket. 6) There is a bunch of additives and test kit. I am not sure what is there. I think this is a nice tank, and would take it if not for the fact that I do not want to dilute my focus away from my current SPS tank. Where is the preferred place to park your car when you visit Reborn? I always park along the main road, but I am worried I end up kenna summon. Add to the already high cost of reefing..... circle a few times, but dunno where to park.
