There are websites dedicated to techniques to relieve stress: I found this tip very effective: Inhale: 2 seconds, Exhale: 6 seconds. Repeat. Using a heart rate monitor, I have seen that this reduces heart rate.

Are those Jumbo Sun Coral still available at LCK110? -
Is deficiency of Mg a common observation? I have never tested it, not to mention understand it. Have been using Coralife salt all this while. But there are signs that my tank does have areas where abiotic precipitation of CaCO3 occurs. Next, if Mg is too low, then what is the preferred method of getting it up? Have seen those liquid Salifert additives. Is using the CR a better way to do it? Anyway, as for the pH controller, looking around for something. Any recommendations? I'll admit that I am a bit of a vanity person when it comes to equipment.

I am using Kalk too, and I do have a algae problem that I am fighting. There are a few things that I should be, but am not doing, though. Too much effort spent chasing shipment last weekend, leaves less time for maintenance. Gheez. Blueheaven: my Anthias are fine. Now my wake up ritual includes feeding. I want to add a male blue eye, and dispar, and..... haha...someone stop me!

No problem. And so the answer to my question is: 1. I should get a pH controller? 2. Still should properly characterize the bubble rate / drip rate based on my cpmsumption? 3. If tank consumption < what the calcium reactor, then I should further rig it up to a timer, preferable running when lit, to avoid pH dip? Sounds like all opinions say 1 is necessary, right? I appreciate the different opinions. Thanks guys!

Do you mean you limit the CO2 dosage or do you also stop the feed pump? Thanks

Reality check: Everything just buy, fresh from shipment, sure look very swee one. The proof is in maintaining them, and then growing them (which I have not) Last night check KH and Calcium, 6 and 370 respectively. Gheez....tuning the CR again. Thinking of popping in a pH probe and let a controller do the job, but that might be thinking a bit simplistically.... Dumped in some seachem Reef Builder, hoping to bump up the KH. But that's just a containment for the time being...... Need to get help from the teacher. Not sure what controller to buy either. Anyone controlling their CR using a pH controller? Can offer some advice? Anyone can offer some advice? Ancelot: OK, will take a full tank shot and post it. Maybe you can offer some opinion. My wife has, and she insist that it needs more corrective action.

Left side of tank. Below cream body with orange polyp monti from Harlequin. The other frag, dunno whether monti or not, from a exchange from a bro.
