  1. Thanks, Bro. Both MH are on....
  2. My Tank from the side. Wife still not happy with the scape. I need a nice flat LR to make the adjustments.
  3. Pic of my Monti that I am fraggin and selling. A bro was interested, and I promised to post a pic.
  4. I know I sound greedy, but the 1" Yellow Tangs at ML were so cute...... bought 2!!!! Had it not been for Henry restraining me, would have bought more.... Anyway, the moment release to main tank from quarantine, start feeding on algae. Always get a very high survival rate buying from ML. Zephyros, I got 3 Anthias. The last 3 in stock. My tank is a 3x2x2. Yeah, didn't get the Bartlets. Dunno if I have enuf "Kang Hu" for an expensive species. Not to mention I got attracted to the yellow tangs. I am using a D70 on a Tamron macro. Another hobby..... Thanks for the information. I haven't read it yet, but I am sure any info is of benefit to me now. Thanx!
  5. Hi Zephyros, Yes, they are from ML. I took the last 3 from his stock. Will be looking to add a male sometime down the road. Morning, I feed a little only. I am not sure how much they eat, cause there is competition from the other fellas in the tank. But I put in enough for the feeding to last about 30secs. I am using the frozen cyclopeeze, so I just use a scrapper and scratch off a pinch of food. At night, different story. Some days, frozen (Henry's recipe) food only, other days frozen + cyclopeeze. Night time usually got more because I am in less of a rush. I am actually more worried if I have to travel, cause I dun expect the wifey to have the same commitment level as me. Inevitably might miss a feeding or two. Anyway, I am a Anthia newbie. There is a new batch of Bartlets....so tempted, but will control my temptation...for now.
  6. Thanks! Now my morning routine include feeding the fish. Haha...Morning feed cyclopeeze, night feed frozen food. Yeah, they are eating very well now. Thanks!!!
  7. Any website to take a look? Sounds interesting.
  8. Couldn't get my hands on a male. Maybe next time.... Anyway, I am a Anthia Newbie, so I could use some advice.
  9. Another addition. Hopefully the colour can stay. Time will tell. Anyway, fragged and put in another buddies' tank to increase the chances.
  10. New addition and a new commitment. Anthias - blue eye one. Question: Must feed twice a day everyday? Or if some days miss ok?
  11. Another question: How long can a SPS colony be kept in a bag before it is placed into the tank? Last friday, I bought, and I went for dinner. Placed into the tank about 4 hours later. Anyway, this colony totally RTN I think it may be due to oxygen deficiency, becos when I opened the bag, the acro crabs already up the lorry. Gheez. Painful lesson. Another case of impatience, I should have just waited till Saturday to buy them. Really spoilt my weekend. Can I conclude that the lesson learnt is: Buy SPS must immediately chiong home to put into the tank? Totally sianz....
  12. The unfortunate thing is that I have yet to see my clown today. The only thing is that he was swimming where I was dosing phyto yesterday. Can it be my phyto had ammonia/nitrite and he got poisoned? I felt impulsive today, I thought I decided to get another 6100, or maybe not. For that amount of money, can get many 6060/6080....still undecided. Another thing is that I unwittingly fragged my red monti due to a falling milli. Gheez.....
  13. Wow! That's a really cool video! It must have been an awesome dive.
  14. My only pics of my excercise to pull out my eggcrate, using a P&S camera.

If you want thin ones, the type people use for art work, they are available in Bras Besah Complex too. But those are pretty thin, used for framing photographs.
  16. Have a couple of questions: 1. My timer for my 250W MH seems to have problem. It is not cutting out. I am using one of those Hager panal mounted timers, which is a mechanical type. For 250W, is it advisable to switch on using a relay or should the timer be sufficient? 2. I thought of adding another stream to my tank. Already run 1x6000 and can't decide whether I should put in another 6000 or 6100. What is the price differential anyway? Just pulled out my eggcrate on Saturday. A thoroughly body aching experience. Still not very satisfied with the current rockscape, but I have some brown algae blooms. (is it because I disturbed the DSB too much). Hope to let the tank stabilize before I do more adjustments.
  17. SOLD. Thanks for all the interest.
  18. Bought since June Clam safe Keith 97478141
  19. Price reduced to $30. I hope to clear today. It will be tough for me to maintain them.
  20. Some pics. Some dead rock too. FOC. Eggcrate still usable, although dirty.
  21. Have some LR to sell. Pictures in awhile. Mature, and subject to eco-bact class-1 bacteria dosing for last 2 months. Some rocks have mushrooms on them: purple and red. And at least 1 rock has a orange yuma on it. Looking to sell all at a go. If interested, eggcrate structure will be given free. Just pulled it out today. Regards-Keith 9747-8141
  22. I just bought a book "What to expect when expecting". Organized month by month. $20. Since you only need the remaining 3-4 months, maybe you can convince them to sell you half price.... Anyway, I thought the book quite good lor, but I think there are many websites that can get info too.
  23. Hoping to borrow a tub so that I can remove the eggcrate from my tank. Hoping to do some rescape. Actually wanted to use styrofoam boxes, but that might rush my effort, and end up making mistakes. I am staying in the East. Will drive to pick up / return. Keith 97478141
  24. Just ate fried chicken skin in Penang. They actually sell that as a dish!
