hey simon, nice to hear from you. joining the "monster" tanks. i am really looking forward to the tank but seems that the carpenter is unable to complete the tank in time.

apparently i did a search in SRC forum, quite a few reefers are using it as return pumps but no one post any pictures before. Will post some pic as soon as i collect the pump tmr. i am trying to source this pump for fellow reefers who like value-for-money pumps. However, no gurantee as i heard from a dealer that price for Igauna pumps have went up.

I decided to use Aquabee 3000 as one return pump and Laguna 5 as another return pump. From the information i gather, Laguna is a pretty reputable brand. Here are the specs: 1283 gallon/hr or 4800 litres/hr Consumes 55 watt. High power evergy saving pump. Unfortunately, i believe Laguna pumps are not easy to find in local market. I manage to secure the last piece from a dealer.

well i guess its partly my fault. . cuz i was rushing the tank maker as i have already tore down my 4 footer. Its suppose to take three weeks but i was pushing for two weeks instead.

ken. . next time u wan to do an upgrade. . make sure u go for 12 footer and above. . so u dun have to "visit" the toilet so often. . tunze is pure german technology, i respect that as well. well, by far tunze wave makers are the best in the mkt!

Have a Eheim 1262 for sale. Pump is in excellent condition. Good as return or chiller pump. I misplace the suction for the Eheim1262 though. But i can reassure this pump runs quietly. As always, i give two weeks gurantee for potential buyer or he can view and test run the pump before purchase. Selling at $120

i really enjoy seeing monster tanks. . especially those on reefcentral. I think there are singaporeans who have 9-15 footer marine tanks but not registered in SRC. Personally, i do have a friend who owns a 9 footer marine tank.

Already did my friend. MH set bought from Horizon Ventures 7 months ago. Using E ballast which is more energy saving compared to magnetic ballast. Bulb included. Plug & play at $170.

sean. . i will be stocking up mainly on fishes and easy maintenance corals. . though i kinda miss the red pratas and lps, but its too costly and requires too much attention. Seems like lots of my friends are quitting this hobby, but u better hang on there. Dun spend ur spare cash on fancy dinners, use it to upgrade ur equipments k. .
