hey bros, thanks for promoting my skimmer. No more monster tangs at the moment cuz my 7" Naso passed away. However, i still house about 9 tangs and 27 fishes in total. Still wish to lay my hands on the deltec 851! btw this skimmer is both in sump & out sump, but i feel the performance is better in sump. There's no such thing as overkill , only underkill.

ur chiller is under powered. get a eheim 1260 or eheim 1262 as return pump.

Pump used: Aquabee 2000i (35 watt) i noe there are many schuran users out there who knoe the performance of this skimmer that utilises german technology. Used for 7 months. Bought first hand. My final offer is $550 , which is less than half the retail price. Failing which, i will pass on to another reefer.

u are funny la. . ur skimmer volume more than ur tank size volume. . i postphone the upgrade cuz havent sell the schuran jetskim yet. Thus running the tank with a beckett skimmer now. Actually this is what i seriously think. . beckett is a very good technology (maybe the best), but the electrical consumption is crazy. Deltec will probably perform some where on par with beckett but at half the electrical comsumption. As for schuran, what else can u complain from a 35 watt pump? i noe jervis will order his deltec in the next 3 months. . bet my last cent on it.

i am sure there is. . but sldnt be more than 10 fingers. . think locally the price range is about $1300-$1800. . . seriously who can afford to fork out that money for such a rare tang except bro jervis.

i dunno how stable my water perimeters are now. . but from my guess it wld take at least 6 months b4 i can add a black tang. by then ur 6 footer sld be up. . and i will be admiring your set up. . .
