  5. Jervis: the arctica 1/5 hp can power up the 4 footer. So why dun u put ur current arctica in the office and get another bigger unit for ur future project at home. If get commercial unit quite expensive cuz need to find people to mount the bracket for the chiller etc etc etc. . godzilla: Most of the fishes are peaceful. Only the yellow tangs tend to fight a little among themselves but no serious damage. mike: Here's my update of the LS Sohal Tang Purple Tang Red Sea Salfin Tang Powder Blue Tang ( yet to transfer ) Blue Tang x 9 ( one display tank size quality ) Yellow tang x 9 Black Line Trigger Bi-colour Angel Copperband Butterfly x 3 Maroon Clown Chromis x 20 Cleaner Shrimp x2 Fire Shrimp Total: 48 fishes , 3 Shrimps
  6. i had this thermometer but i sold it away cuz i thought i didnt need it. I went to buy another one. . bang wall. . haha. . since its in ur office, u prob need a super quiet chiller and not too much heat. Since its 2 ft, u can use the Arctica 1/10 hp which is $1100. what other equipments u need?
  7. u can install the denitrator when the livestocks arrived. Its not a immediate must have equipment unlike chiller or protein skimmer. Do a search in Src regarding denitrator to get a better understanding of how it works.
  8. there you go. . quite a few pm but FCFS.
  9. My new toy. Temperature at 30 degress without a chiller.
  10. i think what u mean is a phophate remover. denitrator is not necessary at all.
  11. Deltec denitrator comes with sulphur beads (just changed recently) and calcium media at $150. Thanks. collection in the east any time.
  12. jervis, u already bought state-of-the-art equipments already. . dun think u wld be interested in the deltec 851. i have sold the schuran. . just taking my time to upgrade to the deltec. . its not cheap man. . even the denitrator will add up to almost $500 with the sulphur beads and agronite calcium material.
  13. i shall upgrade to a deltec and get a denitrator at the same time! total damage more than the cost of aquatronica. . simon: did ur aquamedic denitrator worke?
  14. oh ya. . almost forgot about the seaweed. . i lazy to feed cuz need to tear them into smaller pieces. . i have 9 yellow tangs and 9 regal tangs. The rest are assorted. . i really need a damn denitrator!!!!!
  15. Realised that 2 of the blue tangs and 1 yellow tang is having itch. They will definately recover feeding on garlic brine shrimps. so far my track record for fishes, especially tangs have been good. No death recorded for blue tangs b4. Only died one Achilles tang, one yellow and one naso tang.
  16. Can't agree more. and when one comes back. . he/she might come back with more passion. .
  17. Very good question. i will stop at 50 fishes, or max 55 fishes. The beckett can still handle the load, Deltec have to wait. Btw i am getting my denitrator soon!
  18. Interested parties do wait, i will take pic when i can FCFS.
  19. Housing 3 copperband butterfly which seldom survives in reef tanks.
