i tot putting it in a fr will allow it to have more contact time and thus increase the effectiveness.

you are right, i have the time but not a deep wallet. I got the chiller 2nd hand from another reefer, for the 1/3 hp it still cost me less than $500 after changing the thermostat and servicing.

bro, dun ever dose it directly into ur main tank. unless u like to see everything up lorry. . search the forum a bit, got another reefer doing a study on itch/quarantine treatment.

lol. . or maybe ur resun fr is placed very very far away from e pump? actually its recommended 600l/hr for the fr. ur pump can run 2 fr!!

saw a similar shark at this lfs in pasir ris, its quite aloof leh. . never move or swim ard one. .

Since quite a few reefers dunno the brand NSEW, so i decide to post my chiller here. Its a 1/3 hp chiller carried by NSEW to chill down my 3x2x2.5ft tank. Works like a charm.

another angle. my retrofit t5 is in front. Initial plan was to put one retrofit in front, 250watt mh in the centre and another retrofit behind. Realise i dun have the luxury of space, so have to take out one retrofit t5. Its up for sales, anyone who's interested pm me.

i just got my 250watt MH ytd. Quite happy with the results, sharing with you guys the pics. .

haha. . thanks for the offer bro. . not so soon. . my 3ft tank havent stabilise yet. 6ft tank will be an inevitable plan, but i have to prepare to dump at least 10k into this project. .
