Think about my friend who lost more than 5000 bucks of sps and rics last month bcuz of electrical breakdown. . . What i mean is tt its a painful experience, no doubt about tt. The sour taste will linger for weeks or months, but eventually u will get over it and come back with a vengence!

dude, how's ur tank? sld have taken leave to take care of the toxic cuke. Your experience is not individual, i heard at least two other similar instances. This is the occassion when a beckett can perform to its fullest and prob works even better than the needlewheel skimmers in churning out the junk. Perhaps i sld standby a keckett skimmer in case of emergency.

4th day of skimming. The Deltec have not completely break in, but sld occur within the next 2-3 days. Will continue posting more pics tmr on the ATI. Goodnight folks.

Personally, i leave the air valve fully opened and only adjust the gate valve. 2nd day of skimming, slightly wet skimmate.

This is a must have to prevent the piping from leaking. Just to add, the Deltec 851 is fed with a Aquabee 2000 pump.

As u can see, the skimmer have not break in yet.
