  1. haha. . speaking of which. . we all know velvet have the most babes.
  2. some people change the location when they change the tank as well. . others might sell off current ls before changing tank. anyway good luck for ur sales.
  3. oh man. . . no one can really own a shark at home after all. . who has a fifteen footer tank?
  4. bro, i was just thinking e new owner needs time to re-set up the tank and establish the system, therefore the sps might fade off and fishes might not last tt long in a holding area. from previous threads, most reefers seem to want a bit of this and a bit of that, no one actually want everything in the system although i must say your system is truly high-tech. Up for ur sales though.
  5. opps. . sorry kenny. . maybe one of those ponds at iwarna wld be big enuff. .
  6. The funny thing is. . . every reefer here understand what i mean about the black tang. It was not meant to be an insult or a provocative statement. If u realise, i do LIKE black tangs. this is unproductive, lets not continue on this topic.
  7. jervis, post some pictures of ur ATI Bubble Master leh. .
  8. call them before you go. i not sure if there's any left.
  9. Just view some fibre glass tanks earlier. . biggest i can find is about 8 feet to 10 feet, width 3 feet, height 2.5 feet. . seems like an idea for stingrays and sharks.
  10. garlic not consider diy la. . most reefers are doing that. the DIY gurus are in reefcentral. They can build their tank from scratch to TOTM. lol. Look at the way they do their own skimmers, calcium reactors, etc etc etc
  11. From my previous experience with stingrays, best use grade 1 sand or dun use any at all. my stingray's belly was slightly scratched as well due to the rocks. . so gotta be slightly more careful on tt. If not, they generally are quite easy to keep and feeds mostly on market prawns.
  12. I believe one of the reefers here own a set of the solaris. maybe can check with him how it works. .
  13. The parents. Price is very negotiable.
  14. I have a family of four chinchillas, decide to sell away the youngest chin and keep only the parents and e brother. Anyway chin has already been tamed. Allows people to carry him/her. Both the parents comes with chinchilla cert (potential buyer can see the cert) and prized at $1000 each. Selling the brown velvet chinchilla for $350 negotiable. about 4-5 months old. Prefer owners who have previous experience with chinchilla.
  15. Yes Sir! Lets see how's the performance of the ATI bubble master. Give me a day or two to hook it up as i am rather occupied now. lol.
  16. clown triggers are one of the nicest trigger, price range ard $30. ehz... dun waste ur money buying garlic guard, go ur kitchen find some from ur mom and squeeze urself. i am doing tt now, and its exactly the same as the bottled seachem garlic guard.
  17. jervis, dun jump into sps so early. Cuz sps can mean a lot of things such as higher maintenance, as little fishes as possible in ur tank. will u be considering using a zeovit reactor? Quite a few reefers here have success keeping sps using one, but have to read up on how it works. You definately need a huge CR to feed the sps. Tunze 6100 x2 is not enuff for the 4 footer. Iwarna's 5 footer sps tank got 6 x tunze and wavebox!!!! In the long run, u will realise its a lot more expensive than keeping lps or fishes, but its probably more rewarding. As for the lightings, minimum is 150 watt x 2, supplement with t5 tubes.
  18. From the websites that southpaw posted, it seems that its best to feed the sharks 2-3 times a week as they are irregular eaters anyway. Overfeeding is not recommended. Goldfish is a no-no. . a preferred diet wld be squid or like wad bro ben said, nasi lemak fish. who has a 20 ft pond? lol
  19. oh. . btw the skimmer have arrived. Will hook it up when i have the time.
  20. kenny, thanks for the useful information. It was a good read. let me go find a 20 feet fibre glass tank and update u guys again.
  21. u gotta be kidding me. . . did ur friend get a shock when he saw the black tip? erm. . its only been about 5 days since i hook up the denitrator. . cant tell any results yet. From other people's experience, it will take probably a month before the bacteria will culativate in the denitrator. .
  22. thanks man bro. . u are the second reefer to encourage me to keep pinecone fish. . anyway the shark was just a thought due to my inexperience, no harm meant. not every reefer understand what i meant about the black tang, thanks for clarifying. .
