Hope this helps. PFO Lighting is proud to introduce the Solaris LED Illumination System. The Solaris is the first LED System designed to replace Metal Halide and Fluorescent lighting for the Aquarium Reef Tanks. It has been in development for over two years. It will change the way Aquarists light their tanks from now and into the future. The current design produces PAR light output levels equal to a 250W MH 20K. It uses 40% less energy than the Metal Halide Fixtures it replaces. The life of the LED's is 50,000 hours, so it almost eliminates metal halide and fluorescent bulb replacements. All heat is radiated up and away from the tank Therefore, it does not heat the water like Metal Halides or Fluorescents. This eliminates the need for Chillers. The room air conditioner needs to work 1/2 as much since the light fixture produces only half the heat of Metal Halides which saves even more energy over traditional lighting methods. There is a built in microprocessor that controls the Solaris. This not only eliminates timers, but it allows the unit to dim the actinic blue LEDs, white LEDs, Lunar actinic blue LEDs and Lunar White LEDS independently from 0-100%. This dimming capability opens many opportunities. The light can be adjusted from 6.5K to 22K, or anywhere in between, to set the ideal color temperature. Sunrise, Daylight, Cloud Cover, Sunset, and the lunar cycle, can all be set independently. Coral Growth has been outstanding with the new lights. There is excellent water penetration of the light. Many authors have been testing the units since early May and will be printing their results shortly.

The thing is. . Eheim 1260 is definately not 45 watt. This is verified by the specs provided on Eheim website, its supposed to be 65 watt. I think ATI is still doing R/D on their new pumps. Just like ur ATI twister, it was previously run on a eheim 1250 pump. After i hook up the ATI bubble master, will post some pictures of it and and see what the air flow meter measures.

up.

Maybe the higher range of GT is not bad. Its just like Scott bikes, the lower end ones are made in Indonesia while the Scale-10 or carbon frames are still made in taiwan or Usa. i still like the ellsworth truth, frame alone is 3.5k. Entire bike will cost up to 7-8k easily. . lol

i rather ATI used back the Eheim pump. The reason being their new pump will be manufactured by the mother company Sicce (Italy brand) which also produces Quietone pumps etc. As fas as i know, Eheim beats Sicce pumps hands down. i still have the air flow meter, maybe mine is old stock. Fortunately!!!

(L&S) Bamboo shark's CRAZE named project "Nitro"
acidjazz replied to Lester's topic in FOWLR (Fish-only with Live-rock)
Lester, i passed the bamboo shark to bro Alex (nick is alex23455 or something liddat), together with the stingray and triggerfish. All were doing fine and feeding well when it was put in his 6 footer tank. -
i think a bird kept in a 1 feet cage is worse than keeping a shark in a 15 footer tank.
-
hmmm. . i know who has a BK-250, Deltec 851 and ATI Bubble Master respectively. All the tanks are 5-6 footer big. Will try to request for some information from them.

The biggest Bubble King model which is BK-650 runs on two Red Dragon pumps. The volume of air intake and water intake can beat Deltec's 1004 model any time. Its prized at almost 11000sgd Details of Deltec 1004: The European AP1004 is fitted with 4 Eheim pumps each drawing in 600lts of air per hour giving a total of 2,400lts/hour. (quoted from reefdepot's website) As for BK-650, the air intake is at least 5000 litres minimum. Price wise: ATI Performance wise: BK Electrical consumption: BK After sales support: Deltec The problem with BK is if the titanium impeller ever breaks for wadeva reason, u might have to wait 3 months for a replacement. As for Deltec, replacement is readily available at reefdepot. As for ATI, think we can diy the replacement ourselves.

The lfs tt carry ASM is located at Pasir Ris Farmway. The shop behind Irene's shop with a big Tropic Marin sign.

Bubble King is clearly the winner. Its tested and proven in Germany. As for ATI and Deltec, i believe there's a fight. I will post again when i hook up the ATI Bubble Master which comes with an air meter, so i can calculate the capacity of air drawn. What's ur basis for the winner anyway? The performance vs the price? or solely on performance?
-
so what did u buy today when u are therE?
-
Anyway i used to cycle GT, its all made in taiwan now. From my experience, e bike is heavy, stock parts are lousy but for tt price its ok. Rather save more and invest in a cannondale or santa cruz or independent or ellsworth. Oh ya, now tt i remembered. Ellsworth is a superb bike, go check it out man.
