A FR is used as a phosphate remover to minimize po4 in the water which promotes unhealthy algae. Its a simple gadget, yet impt for most aquariums, especially if your aquarium is fairly new. Phosphate remover needs to be change every 1-3 months.

Btw the Royal Gamma and Blackcap are XXXXXXL size. . but price is XXXXS Atlantic blue tangs got a lot, bought a healthy speciman myself.
