Currently running both Deltec and ATI skimmers on the same tank, so its more fair and unbiased compared to running both skimmers separately and attempt to do a comparison. This is solely a product review and not a free advertisement as some reefers are doing nowadays. In addition, i would like to emphasize that all the information will be based on my own observation and opinion. For critics, you can either buy both skimmers and run it in your tank or view it in my place. This experiment is for reefers who have difficulty choosing the skimmer within their budget and best for their tank. Unfortunately, i do not have other models of skimmers in this experiment, but i wld appreciate any feedback. I will not term this a world class review, you reefers will decide yourself. For me, its more like an experiment. Lastly, the link below by riot is a fantastic review on Deltec 850. Deltec Review by riot

that's good news on your side. . . are you excited about it? I am certain Eheim1262 can outbeat Rio20 models and below. . and its a long lasting pump. u have been reefing for so long. . patience is the key but most of the time we cant wait to buy this or that piece of equipment, put in this or that fish sorta thing. For the skimmers, i am just doing a test to see if Deltec or ATI is more effective. Maybe someone want to donate a bubbleking to me so that i can do a test on all three skimmers?!!

So far the Deltec is up for 4 days, sld be reaching its full potential soon. The first day i fire up, the bubbles was not as dense as now.

Lastly, the Deltec is working hard. Does the theory tt with two skimmers running in the same tank, one will skim more than the other hold?

The land at Old Tampines Rd was taken back by the govt, used to have 3 saltwater lfs there. Then they moved to paya lebar side or something and finally now at Lavender. Maybe rent cheaper. However, have to give it to them for bringing in such nice corals for the last few years. . and open brains at $3!!! too bad no such market price any more.

Yes, when Reborn was still at Old Tampines rd. Last time corals aint tt rare, but also dun have so many lfs ard. The only price tt didnt change from 7 years ago is the price of clownfish and damsels, still $1.

IMO, Deltec.

Thanks for sharing. Seems like mangrove aint tt easy to keep after all. Besides not many pple have refugim, but if cultivated properly will assist in removing nitrates right?

cuz there's a demand for it. 7 years ago, i was able to buy an open brain at Reborn for $3, yellow tang for about $15. . .
