bro, there's a review done on salts in the forum. u can do a search on it. Its true that different salt has different advantages and the higher priced ones could mean more trace elements, beneficial vitamins etc. i recommend you marine environment, it will replenish ur system. the only downside is the price.

FR has its own purpose, u can say its part of the filtration system. For me, i am running two FR. One with purephos, the other with carbon. i believe this will improve the water quality n keep the diatoms under control.

the prata prob be quite big when it fully expanded. . good buy. . too bad i have 3 green pratas already. if have red ones i wld be interested.

u go search forum n type "macro" will have a lot of useful links for you. for macro to work, the pump sld be some where like 10cm or less below the water surface, so most likely u need a stand. however, its all individual, maybe ur macro works for you but not for me.

bro, it sld be some where at the neck. you can tune the macro acoordingly. placement of ur pump will affect the performance of ur macro though.
