  2. Ah beng's shop in pasir ris got two 6" - 8" red frogfish.
  3. bro, i think its a little too strong for resun cl650. Try getting a pump between 1500-2500l/hr. maybe eheim1250 or 1260 wld be good.
  4. bro. . if u need a two tier 3ft tank. . my friend can give you.
  5. His stomach is bloated. . haha. . thanks for taking care of little bamboo shark. . his only company in the new tank wld be two garden eels. .
  6. well. . compare to most. . yours stand out. . maybe bcuz i am a lps lover. . the rics garden u own and the ultra clams are
  7. bro. . i just saw ur rics garden. . its beyond words. . if there's an opportunity i wld like to see it.
  8. the centre clam is a very nice piece.
  9. good buy. . up for ur sales. .
  10. bro, its better to use pressure rated pumps. i tried rio32 b4, still change to md55 eventually.
  11. bro, finally decide to use beckett. . . good change!
  12. of offense but it wld be easier if u state the price u wan instead of the price u bought for.
  13. bro, its not too good a idea if u decide to run a md55 inside the cabinet to power ur beckett. Its no doubt the most common pump for beckett, even i am using one personally. However, ur cabinet wld become a sauna with a md55 inside, which means ur chiller might have to work a lil harder.
  14. bro, actually lionfish and exotic fishes are not my expertise. i am starting out slowly on a 2ft fowlr keeping garden eels, bamboo shark, frogfish. Currently i have no room for a lionfish only tank, but its a fantastic idea. . wld let the other senior reefers out there share their views. . .
  15. i totally agree, there is little room for a 32" beckett in the cabinet. In fact, u might be able to utilise the remaining space in the cabinet for a calcium reactor, kalkreactor, FR or other equips. . In addition, it wld be rather difficult for u to clean ur beckett if u place it in the cabinet. From wad i witness when i went over to some reefers place, majority of them have their beckett outside the cabinet. So far i only seen this reefer who have a beckett in sump, but his is a shorty (12" wide and 24" height)
  16. can't remember. . actually i did toy with the idea of having a lions tank. perhaps a 3 feet tank will do. . simple set up. . . will rely on great skimming. how about u set up yours n show us the pics?
  17. its confirmed. my supplies running very low, might switch to pellets for a while. now i am thinking why i didnt think of replenishing the frozen brine/mysis shimps. .
  18. bro, try searching reefcentral. i read about reefers who have a 6ft tank solely for lionfish. Its pretty amazing. .
  19. bro, unable to give you the exact price of the tank and equipments. Here's a rough guide of the price u sld be looking at. . 1) tank/sump/cabinet - $400 2) Eheim 1260 2nd hand ($80-$100) however, i wld advise u to get eheim 1262 instead. 3) skimmer, try to go for the best. i recommend beckett. ($500) 4) sand, 10kg for $6, u need approx 80-100kg. 5) Live rocks, about 80-90kg now. Get from pple who decommission, will save u lots plus the rocks are cured. However, might not get the shape u wan. ($3-$6/kg) In short, set aside $4000 for a 3ft tank.
  20. yup. . it can be in sump. However, for me i am running my weipro2013 out sump and its working fine. just make sure u use white tape to prevent any leakages. .
  21. up. good buy. . dun miss it guys.
