hey bro, its from ah beng. 16 blue notes. just changed 8 pails of water this week, think its my lousy digital cam tt makes the water seems murky. i just got back from overseas, havent got to see the black tang yet. However, b4 i left for my trip, it was having itch. hopefully its recovering.

hey bro, i rushed down to ah beng after i heard news about the black tang. funny thing is. . when the black tang is small. . its like 1.5inch - 2inch, and when its big, its a giant 8 inch. . so i was complainging to ah beng how come he got nothing in between!!! its alright la. . 16 blue notes. . my most expensive fish by far.

Hi, i got the atlantic blue tang from Ericsson farm about 3 months back or more. my first atlantic blue tang as well, but its a juvenile one. . approx 3.5 inches. . colour still yellow. seems like an easy fish to keep.

hey jem, i am wondering if mine is the biggest black tang locally. by far the biggest i seen is henry's black tang (approx 5.5 inches), and this black beauty is 8 inches!

Hi, sorry that i have not been updating this thread regularly. Both ATI and Deltec got their advantages and disadvantages. In my honest opinion, i still choose Deltec because it can be placed both in-sump and out-sump which is more flexible. It seems that Deltec is doing a better job skimming than ATI. On the other hand, ATI draws in 2000 litres of air per hour while Deltec only draws in 600 litres of air per hour. Therefore, ATI should be able to support a higher capacity tank compared to Deltec. This thread has no intention to swing reefers towards either brands. Honestly, seeing is believing. Unfortunately my place cant be a showroom for reefers to inspect both skimmers. If any other reefers here have tried both skimmers, perhaps can input your findings and share the experience. cheers.

Its better to have bigger rocks for easy scaping, especially such a huge tank like yours. eg. Bio Ocean's display tank is made up mainly of huge rocks, 8-10kg types and it looks fantastic. Can ask for refund for the lr?
