  1. Thank you to those reefer whom have kindly shared the information. I have indeed learn alot from here. I believed everything have the good and bad side, just how we deal with it. I totally agreed with having good skimmer will help to prevent disaster. I think I will still have clam, but just to keep it as a pet not to have it help in other function.

  4. Hi bro hotlemond, if the reeefer is still running the chiller on his tank, if I dun see any leak, does that means okay? Temp control, I am still lost at it? Is there 2 diff set, 1 for higher inorder to kick in, and the other for lower to kick out? Lastly, is there a 3/4HP Daeil chiller?

  12. Hi Bro Earth, More LR will help good bacteria to grow, also, if you gonna have a FOWLR setup, than definitely you will need more LR's. LR's usage: 1. Good Bacteria grow, which can help reduce NH4, NO2, NO3... 2. Let your fish have some hiding place 3. Will beautified your tank setup 4. Natural Reef have lots, lots and lots of LR Hope this convince you. I am just a newbie, so can't offer a long essay on this.

  14. Bro, how big is the diameter? Thinking of drilling hole on the sump for overflow inlet and return pump outlet. Think is possible?
  15. Hi Bro, I am not trying to reduce NO3 using Clams, but I heard they need good Water quality....if that's the case that they can reduce NO3, then why the concern of water quality? Sorry for m innocent qns, just wanna check out before I put my finger on it....

  18. Hi, can any clam expert tell me is it true that Clam can reduce NO3? I was advice by a LFS shop that the above is true. Need reefers who have experience to advice.
  19. William was kind and understanding and he sold the stand back to me. As for the light, when to drill 2 holes (not so stable) and use the stand to lift the lights as well. Hope the tank is strong enough to uphold the light (about 20+ KG ) At least the corals are opening up with the MH installed. Now only able to run 4hrs at most, coz water temp shoot up to 29+ Still looking for a chiller Thanks.
