My hammer used to be very healthy, it lived beside a frogspawn. However, now one of its branch is slowly disappearing. Not sure what happened. Other hammer and corals are okay. I dont think is water parameter, guess it is luck.

Isopods don't eat fish, what they do is suck the blood out from fish. Whether it is 1" or 7", it still can attack. The body may be eaten by cleaner crew or other fishes. Mantis do attack and eat.

I brought the NSW it is at 1.020. Just did a fresh water dip for 5 mins for the Naso. It is in the QT not moving, not eating (

Hi senior, my Naso got a bite from Isopod, I had removed it from the body. Now the Naso is in QT tank with NSW. Pls advise what is wrong with him and what should I do to get him back to health. He is not eating even with Henry gourmet. Thanks!

I have a very big and healthy Naso. Yesterday saw him hiding behind rocks. I find his action is weird as he is so listless. Than I tried to make him out to the open space and I saw a ISOPODs on his body I quickly caught him and remove the pods and put him in a separate tank. Hope he recover. My experience is that fish disappeared may not be due to Mantis or crabs. It may die to ISOPODs which weaken the immunity and caused other virus to kill them. Then the clean up crew will eat them up. Hope my sharing will gove some ideas that pods do kill fish as well
