Bro David, just a comment. Anyway most of the things nowadays r from Great China. We can't change it but to accept the quality and prices is better. I think I got a sick shrimp. My salinity is 1.024.

Bro Rockyboy, after my observation the light changed the intensity up or down based on next setting. I feel this is good as this won't shock the fishes or corals on sudden change in light intensity. Thumbs up!

Something funny about this light setting. I used the Automatic program, I set it at 2300hrs to Channel A:0 and Channel B:1, it changed itself to Channel A:0 and Channel B:2, then it increase slowly to Channel A:7 and Channel B:16 at 0930hrs. My next setting was at 1200hrs Channel A:10 and Channel B:20.This is good if it slowly brighten up in prepare for next setting changed. Need to monitor further.

Bro James, very sad...I just brought a cleaner shrimp and it died few mins after touching water. Don't know what happened? Still a puzzle. I also brought sand gobbles and hope they will survived. My ANN is 0,0,40.

Biotim is the food for these bacteria, you can dose vodka for the bacteria but need to be careful of over dosing.

Hi Chris, sorry I currently have barely any live stock maybe others whom purchased the light can share.

I used the extended leg and also the hanging kits to prevent if leg slip, still have the hanging kits to hold it. Did not want to drill hole on false ceiling.

bro Tropics, there are factory presets, which can't be changed and a Automatic preset that can be program. I chose the program so that I have longer moonlight from 11pm till 12pm. Then I will start dawn, sunrise, daylight, sunset, evening and back to moonlight. This way at least I can see the tank when I back home.

Saw this word, Made in China. But I think it is worth it and hope this LED can bring down the rest of the brand pricing.

Hi rockyboy, my ATS has 2 lights both 2700k 24w. It's running 12hrs.
-
bro Gouldian, my no2 is 0 and no3 is 10ppm.

Hi Gouldian, thanks for sharing. I have actually seeded the ATS with green algae from a kind reefer in the initial setup. However as weeks passed, the brown has taken over the green and now it is entirely brown and part of my sump before the skimmer. Actually I was thinking if I don't have this ATS setup, would my rock be covered with the brown stuff already. You did told me that my rock/sand will leach and it did. Can I still go ahead to start keeping fishes? Coral will be later till more settled. Regards

Hi Seniors, need your advice what should I do. I have started the tank since May 12, Rock has been reusing dead Rock and I have also used tap water to wash the sand since it was in my previous setup untouched for quite sometime. Water is using Salt mixed with DI water. The tank is without any live stocks. Still cycling. I have setup a down flow ATS. The purpose was to get green Algae but now after 3 weeks, it seems to be capturing gold brown algae. See picture below. The rock seems to be also having patches of it. I am running the ATS about 12hrs and also a skimmer. Currently setting up a refugium. What should I do? 1. Continue cycling the tank without adding live stocks? 2. I have been dosing bacteria if I don't have poos, the bacteria will also die off. Am I right? 3. Can I start adding live stock and at the same time solving this problem. I was once told that leaching of silicate and phosphate will happened and it will take someone before it stable down. Hope this do not affect the life of fishes. Appreciate and thank you bro and sis for any good advice.

Thanks for recommendation, got from Madpetz. I'll be dosing once I have live stocks.
