hi , I have just finish cycling my tank, and after testing all the water premeter and eveything look OK. However, after putting in one Mushroom, red sponge and plant. I become to see "Brown alge" forming in the tank wall...! Can some kind soul advice what maybe happening over here ? and how can i get ride of the alge ? Thanks for all your advice in advance..

Thanks bro, I intent to keep some mushroom, and soft coral.. as i understand it is bit cheaper for a start, and mroe hardy.. I bought some quality salt mix from Henry from Hong leong yesterday with a small pack (Just enough for one pail) @ S$8.00 /pack.. he told me that it is good..

How is the effectiveness of this small chiller ? Heard from henry today that the equipemt is not so effective that why he is not selling anymore..?

Hello all bros, Justed to keep only fishes in my 2 ft tank, but decided to conevrt it into a Reef tank after seeing all those beautiful coral / mushroom ane.. Can some bros out there help, what are the "NECESSARY" - important addictive that is needed to keep a healthly and beautiful coral tank ? I only intend to keep 2 ~ 3 small fishes to keep the Nitrate low.. As i see all sort of Reef addicative out there in the LF shop, and didnt know what is what.. dont want to waste unnecessary money also.. thanks you all for your help in advance.. I went in JB today, and hapen to saw a newly open fish shop near to Taman Sentosa and went in to have a look. To my surprise, it is selling Marines fishes and many others type of equipment.. I saw fishes like, yellow tang, flame, queen angel .. and ie.. Prehapes we can share any info on the marine shop in JB so that we are able to save some $$ in our pocket?

It is good to match many types of Forzen foods together and freeze it.. Examples like: 1) Brine shrime 2) Chopped fresh prawn from our market 3) squids 4) some greed stuff..ie 5) Maybe also some colour enhancing paller foods All these will hep to maintain a good and balance foods for all your fishes and corals Most impt is that it is more econimical, and chepaer in the long rin.. If you can afford, you may like to add some vitamins or Garlic into your mixture of fish foods and freeze it! It will be Super !!

Does your self made garlic suppement works ? does it polloute the water ? i have heard good things about garlic marine fishes, but the "Kent garlic supplement" is selling @ $65 per bottle !!!! oh shit, i would rather buy some good fishes with the $$
