  2. 4 months now.. and im a proud owner of tank full of aiptasia!! whats a good way to rid them in seahorse tank? Ive tried the following already .. -salifert's solution (not much luck) -boiling water (no luck..too..) not able to source for peppermint shrimp cant have agressive fishes now ive to fight with the darn aiptasia every feeding time to ensure they dont get the food before th horses does!!! AND.. i found tiny aiptasia growing on the horses's body as well!! how cute!!
  3. Yep, its a Trex 450XL CDE, i got it 1.5 months ago Should be able to take out training gear by end of next week! Its just as expensive as most ppl's reeftank here!! maybe even cheaper!! u wanna sell ur IFO?
  4. the bigger = more stable!! my heli flight pic http://www.daddyhobby.com/forum/attachment...achmentid=27679
  5. haha .. c'mon .. just forget about the nx big skimmer upgrade
  6. becoz they're actually blackish water fish mollies / puffer (figure 8, spotted ..etc) can adapt easily.. just progressively increase the salinity of their tank water over period or a week or so
  7. yea .. suitable places to fly lama and other similar sized heli will be multipurpose hall or multistory carpark .. coz they cant really take the wind in outdoor flight. RC Heli is challenging, true.. anyone here who has the patient (and spare $$$) to maintain marine tank, i dont see why they cant fly heli... but be prepared to spend on replacement parts .. coz they crash often (common for 1st timer)
  8. u refering to http://shop.rotor.com.sg/images/Product/21028/size.gif ? Thats the RC kite Rotor is quite a huge RC shop btw .. somewhere near Reborn too

  22. Just wondering .. since seahorses r very sociable animals, and it has been reported that if they've already bonded, the health of the seahorse will start declining if their another half died... do u guys think they'll exhibit this behavior if we separate them? oh and Chris .. u've gotto restrain from showing ur seahorses in the husbandry too much Discovery channel
  23. Thanks for the tips!! No doubt that your setup will work .. but Christ, how did u managed to keep them off the surface ? Im currently trying this method -kreisel system in another 1.5ft tank -1 sponge filter -feed them 2 times per day (BBS) -covered up the top 4 sides of the tank -provide lighting near the bottom of the tank out of the 16 fries i managed to scoop out of my tank, only 1 made it to day 7 so far didnt have much luck in the previous in-tank method .. they died within 5 days or so maybe i'll add more sponge filter for the next brood.
