  1. Yup... But do not do a huge water change for ur tank..... Do it gradually.... Mix a hige amount of water ... replace a fetcher ful of ur tank per day.... and observe what happen
  2. Its going to cost a bomb.... Freight is very very expensive...erm... I am now studying integrated logistics management.... and once we had a field trip to airport logistics park... Seen first hand that they were trained to handle live animals... tip given by them was to pack as minimal water as possible and alot of oxygen...bottomline if u worry about your corals/fish being mistreated is very slim.....hope this eases your fear abit,...
  3. Bro.. really think u need to stock up on more corals
  4. It Really depends on what you want to keep... If unsensitive creatures like soft coral you can get away with using natural seawater... But if u keeping animals such as SPS corals where you need to control the water parameter very strictly it is advisable to use synthetic seawater.. But there are instances of where people using natural seawater and having success of using natural seawater. Good luck
  5. Thats a really high maintainence gift.....hahahhah.. joking.. cute baby...

Hi anybody interested in swapping a 150watts metal halide ( pendant type) can attach to wall type.... Its actually a floodlight... but the bulb is 10,000k sylvania brand......used for a few months then disconnect...... i would like to change the above for a few coralline encrusted rocks.... or one really huge corraline encrusted rock......

  21. Bro... really nice tank.... love the stacking....the coral looks like a gonipora.....and the coral in Pic 3... the centre of the pic... its best if you put it on the sandbed...... because thats how they were found in nature
  22. Bro Qxnviolent...it is possible to keep clams or even sps using T5.... provided that it is close to the surface..... and the bulbs are those reliable brands .......not those cheap cheap ones.......
  23. Hi bro... perhaps you would like to tell us your water parameter and equipment specs...... i dont think the shrimp caused the death of ur squamosa.... i read somewhere shrimps are attracted to dying clams... so this means that the clam is already dying or stressed or weak then the shrimp came in..... if the clam is healthy it will be able to close its shells quickly and snap the shrimp into two.... perhaps the shrimp is a symbiotic shrimp that naturally is associated to clams just like acropora crab is associated to acropora corals...... hope this helps abit....btw.. condolences on ur croceas' passing on...
  24. Sorry .. off topic.... but can anybody tell me where this "golden octopus" chop is???? thanks,..,,
