IMO, this device is best to use as a signal whether is for AC or DC source. But not connected directly to a AC powerhead or pump to top up water. In this way, small current will only flow through the device unlike if you connect to a powerhead direct, a much higher current will pass through the device. In our aquarium, very small leakage of current is present due to all this 2pin devices (range between 5-10mA), so best is to have it protected for all high current devices. Connect the float switch through another monitoring device which will activate the powerhead to top up water will be much better where you can include earth protection. In that way, you don't have to worry about being electrocuted.

Use I-box to solve the above problem cause you can never balance the pump and siphon. If siphon failed, your main tank will be flooded and overflow. If pump failed, your ref will be flooded and overflow.

The TS07/TS12 is a modula unit which uses 2 types of flowrate, normally it is set at Pulse1 - 100% and Pulse2 30%. It will switch from Pulse1 to Pulse2 at an internal set by you(can't remeber the time range). So, inorder to reduce the flowrate, you can set the Pulse1 to less than 100% (for example 30%), this will reduce the total flowrate to 30%. Two others mode can be use in the Tunze stream - 1) Night mode - need to install a photo cell inorder to perform this operation. When the light is 'on', the stream will perform normal operation swtiching from Pulse1 to Pulse2. When light is turn 'off', the stream will remain at Pulse2 which is set at 30%. 2) Feeding mode - there is a red button in the controller when press will cut off the stream for 5 minutes and will turn 'on' automatically. As the 6060/6080, there are fixed flow rate stream which provide 6000l/hr and 8500l/hr respectively. Hope this info helps
