Which marine fish have defencsive venom or spikes?
akahoshi replied to jackalcleo's topic in FOWLR (Fish-only with Live-rock)
I think the tang that has the sharpest blades are the Naso Tangs... Ever read on the internet that someone has been slash by them until the bone! (OUCH!) So, just be careful when you put your hand into the water, some tangs are territorial.. -

The Blue Ring Octopus bite is a neuromuscular paralysing venom, which means that the vemon would totally stop all muscle movement and control (ceasing all breathing and heart movement). However the bite of the Blue Ring Octopus may be painless though. The nerve conduction is blocked and neuromuscular paralysis is followed by death. However the bad thing about it is that it only takes 3 minutes for your heart to stop beating.. However you CAN save the victim if artificial respiration starts before marked cyanosis and hypotension develops. BUT there's no known anti-vemon. The only treatment is hours of heart and artificial respiration until the poison has wear off. So i think if you can make it to the hospital immediately after the bite, you might survive as the doctors there can do heart and artificial respiration until the poison has wear off... -

Hi bro, I must add that you cannot really tell the quality of the mp3 player by just listening to it at the shop as there are alot of factors there that vary the quality. For example, the quality of the audio (how many kbps), the original source of the audio, the quality of the earphones (which creative isn't very good at.), the outside noise disturbing you when you were testing it out, and of course, the most importantly, the EQ setting of the mp3 player. After getting the best quality of audio, quiet surroundings, good headphones and my personal tuning of EQ, I must say that the quality of Creative MuVo V200 is good... Well, I don't think it's a bias point of view as this mp3 player changed me from a ipod fan to a creative fan.. Regards, Marcus.

Hi, Have always been interested in the garden eel.. Can you give me more information on how you keep it? What does it eat? Is it hard to feed? Does it always hide?? Haha, sorry about all the question, just haven't seen anyone keeping garden eel lately..
-
UPZZ... Take all for $50...
-
Hehee, Monfort Junior can?? hahaax...
-
Not so sure about your statement bro.. I am quite sure a lionfish, eels and scorpionfish will not take live brine shrimp.. And also I am quite skeptical about fishes like Moorish Idols, Regal Angel, Anthias.. etc. (I am NOT talking about those already feeding..)

Hey vtec3100, You should read my last thread about Ipod Shuffle. I finally decided on the Creative MuVo V200 ($199 for 512MB). I must say I am very happy with my buy. Good sound quality with the ease of having your custom EQ settings.. One important info about Creative MP3 Players (or most mp3 players for that matter) - They ONLY play your mp3 tracks according to alphabetical order. So you can't have a users defined track order.. However, I have found a software on the internet that solves my problem.. so I still vote for Creative MuVo V200! Good Buy.. Value for money
