Why not give SPCA a try? I have seen a few chihuahuas and shih-tzu there.. SPCA's dogs are quite nice sometimes, I got my JRT from them, and I must say that it is of quality, nice coloration...etc. (which owner doesn't brag about his dog?? haha..) Somemore, if you find a really good one, the price is almost 10x cheaper than outside. Good luck in finding your dog! Ps. - don't get a JRT, they are xiao ting tong dogs...haha.

Don't really get your question. Water pressure on what? On your tank? Pardon me guys if I am wrong, but the pressure on the tank is different at different depth of your tank. The strongest pressure of the water on your tank would be at the bottom of your tank. Which also means that a 1.5ft(H) tank will exprience lesser pressure at the bottom then a 2.5ft(H) tank at the bottom. This is just my understanding of your question, i could've understood it wrong. do clarify.
