  1. U can buy live phytoplankton from LFS- but the fertilizers u need , either u concoct your own from organic fertilizers from florist/nursery, or you can get from REBORN- they import from Florida-farm.Not difficult to start up a batch from these, but need to maintain water quality-well (in a nutshell- u dont have to cough up a lot of money and buy from the internet- just work around with what is available here-check out some of the website I linked earlier ----you'll see what I mean
  2. Good luck...i personally found them to be difficult to keep. But then I dont have a good refugium as yet.Am in the process of connecting my spare 3 feet tank,as a refugium to be able to feed this guys properly. They seem very picky with food
  3. get the plastic coffee filter from cold storage, brown rim, white filter, good enough, It will help of u use a sewing machine to stitch another time through, I was using this. go my rotifers culture from LFS ......feed them with yeast, and a little plankton. You can usually find the filters at the baking, section in the supermarket/
  4. 1) target feeder with "turkey baster" syringe (think ard $20) from cold storage-look under baking section , may cost more, but u will like the suction power this baby provides. The rigid hose is from garden/nursery e.g Far east flora at thomson. Brand is POPE, original use for watering system, various sizes and yes they sell the black plastic tubings cheaper than the LFS...if you are planning a trip to australia, cheaper to get there, from stores like Target, K-mart (garden section) 2) MY OWN, sea weed feeding device, clips 2 seaweed for the tangs to nibble on.the clips are the one's u can get from ikea for resealing potato chips bags...I use fish lines to secure in place on a plastic garden/floral arrangment rod.(from -katong florist.)
